The problem is once you shoot the other ones are gonna spook so getting all of them in 1 go is going to be hard

But now the map has only 2 for the whole map

What I have on my map is I have 2 x more females then males and it sucks

After they did the second rezoning times I only had visible 5 Bear 2 males and 3 females so I shot them all and then I would get a few to come up through the ground to where I could see them that took a long time to get my map some what populated

Really you can grind with any amount of zones

You can grind one zone

just be carful to not delete it by adding hunting pressure in other areas

Now I wouldnt reccomend 1 zone because respawns and such are crazy with moose as is

but you can

if you want to swap out the female do it. up to you really. experimenting you will learn more yourself than what any one can tell you

you should always just take from what anyone says then apply your gameplay style to get the best for you

the simpleness of moving animals is just making space

it doesnt matter what species you can do it will all apart from flying birds 😁

The 3 female part could be a problem as those zones usually arent consistent

Well level 2 whitetail do score like 20 points bigger than most lvl 1’s on average and if you have like 14 level 2’s on the map that adds up to the same score as a huge dime WT so leave as little of those as possible on the map

leaving small lower levels you should kill because of score is going to effect your hm

so shoot the 2s. until they ones

14 level 2s is a big difference

I have a question about a black bear grind. I know they say to have 4 main lakes with high lvl 6 or over n the rest are external lakes do u need all the external lakes to be lvl 4 n lower?

I’m not 100% sure either as I started recently, but what makes the most amount of sense in my mind is each lvl 4 or lower that spawns in my main lakes I swap with a exterior lvl 5 or higher. Which I think should work if your doing hm

Could also use it with stacking as it’ll make animals smaller which should work

But that means tring to get the legendary on my main lakes which i know has helped but the legendary seem to only have spawned on my external lakes more than my main lakes as ive had 7 legendary bears. Guess im going to have to rotate my main lakes till i stack legendarys to lower 10 bears on my external lakes. Spent abt 60ish hrs maybe more n i can what lvl bears n how many are on each lake.

I have abt 99 bears on my external lakes if i remeber each bear correctly and 13 on my main lakes for silver ridge peaks

I have 13 males on my 4 main lakes they where all lvl 7. Most of my males on external lakes are lvl 3 or less. Females are lvl 4 or less. Have abt 10 males which are usually 6 to 8 but they dont respawn and that quick after a time reset n going to lobby n returning to map it could be because consoles dont do the bear respawns as quick as pc also i check all the external lakes. Might try swapping my high lvl on the external lakes to a 5th lake which is closer to the 4 main lakes

Herd management affects great ones, but there’s still RNG to it imo. I believe that when a diamond is going to spawn, there’s a chance it spawns as a great one instead. Which explains perfectly why HM grinds are normally shorter, because of abundant diamonds. But because there’s probably still some RNG factor that determines whether it spawns as a diamond or a GO, it also explains the occasional longer grind

There’s a gahdamn reason those with the most great ones also use HM

i think its down to higher the trophy the higher the probability a go spawns from it

which could be score based

so this could be a max weight high scorer has highest chance of all of becoming a go

which is maybe why just before a go comes you generally get a lot of high max weights

or if you already have high scorers on your map the level to add is a go respawn
