Hello, I have a problem. I am at about 300 kills right now with 4 or 5 diamonds bear and I have the same setup like you. I watched your video but I get many 3s and 4s male at the main shooting lakes.

What do I do?

I've never grinded bears before so I'm no expert but you can shoot lvl 3s and 4s in main shooting zones just not in exterior zones

depending on what you have on your map

You can start grinding whenever, no matter how many drink zones you got you cant just set up on a few and start grinding, just make sure to delete the hunting pressure if you only have a few set up on since in could delete your zones eventually

If you kill an animal, hutning pressure appears where it died. If you kill 4 animals over top of a zone while not being in a blind or stand of some sort, then that zone will be deleted. After a few kills the hunting pressure from previous kills will be deleted

I was always hesitant to perk reset too but you build up cash fast when get around 1k plus per harvest on decent size fallows and often higher on reds and moose when grinding it makes resetting to take a break from a grind and explore other styles of hunting much easier and relieves the boredom lol.

honestly you can make any of the maps work well depending on your preferences/patience level

if you just want a quick no frills grind go rev

if you want 17 quintillion zones but a really pretty map go NEM

I can't speak much for mississippi and rancho is pretty much irrelevant now

layton is the OG map ofc and has the smallest home range for whitetail iirc

granted layton is kind of a pain because of the brush and how many small divots the deer like to drink in

now it's kinda just mid, there's other maps that are better and have easier terrain/more zones to fumble with

hell everyone went to rancho when it came out
