There’s been zero evidence pointing towards it actually affecting GOs. In fact, the evidence we have just shows they’re just as random if you use purge method and if you use HM

hm increases the spawning of high scoring animals, regardless of trophy type. if it didn't, grinders wouldn't bother using it. it immensely complicates the grind so there would be no reason to.

I was still trying to HM red deer I was about 700 kills in when I spawned mine

I hadn’t even spawned a diamond

A few 9s but all were trolls

I still had lots of level 4s-7s

No it dose it increases by so much I did a red deer grind and it took 3k kills to get nothing of a GO red deer so I stopped and later on did heard management for them and it took 1k kills and then another 1k kills for another GO to spawn

This is mainly why I only grind animals that mainly stay in good size herds, moose unfortunately have alot of solo male zones. Solo animal zones seem to be very finicky with respawning/showing up at a reasonable time. Really affects predators, unfortunately it affected my mountain lion grind which is why I mainly grinded fallow after te awaroa released otherwise I would grind predators more.
