There isn’t a set number of zones on each map. It can vary by a lot depending on how spread out they are and how many solo stag zones you have. Just check all bodies of water that they can be found at and you should find all your stags

depends on what you have level wise on your map

so if you got quite a few fives 6s 7s 8s they will mostly go up to legendary or diamond.

but if you havent got say many 5 6 7s for eg they may go to that

you have to tip the favour so its more likely to be a diamond

a solid majority of my respawns are 8s and 9s

moose? yeah they've got furs and racks

black bear? yeah they've got furs

red deer? they... exist

but whitetail great ones are also coupled with the general hype of atypicals so

Whitetail feel mundane

Red deer have the foliage in their antlers and their very unique fur type, though they could do with more variety

Moose have 4 incredibly unique racks and 6 (mostly) fantastic fur types, all completely different than the other

And black bear I think have had the most love, with 6 unique fur types and different models between them. They truly feel like what a great one should be

i dunno. red deer are definitely unique, but they lack the insane amount of variety the other great ones have.

while moose great ones are very good, they dont have the same... feel? whitetail great ones are weirdly realistic because of the hype behind big irl atypicals and big atypical moose are a far more esoteric subject compared to whitetail
