Lynx will be found in the upper 1/2 of the map, Badger in bottom 1/2. Chamois will be found on any of the 3 big mountains. Euro bison on left 1/2 of the map, brown bear on right 1/2. The common quail can be found in any of the fields, along with geese that can occupy the fields or the larger bodies of water. Everything else is map-wide

So I've been looking for a diamond Plains Bison for the contest.
I've gone to all the lakes on their side of SRP and exterminated all level 3's and 4's I could find. Multiple times and it seems I'm getting more 4's now.
But even after multiple purges (I lost count) I have yet to see a level 5 Plains Bison on my map.

At around 200m you can shoot at the foot of an animal to get it to go alert. Useful if you need the animal to move to a better position for a shot. If it’s closer than 200m and further than like 130-140m it’s safer to just pop a shot in the air to get the same effect. The .22 virant and handgun were able to do this, but no the .22ar on release

Now the .22 ar can do it, but I don’t know when they made this change. Possibly they did it with this update, idk
