The stacking is mostly just to cause the adverse effect of herd management. More 9s on the map should mean that the smaller deer come back even smaller more often. More small deer means more big deer more often.

So if you have multiple 9s on your map the 5s you kill are more likely to come back as 4s which is good

No. GOs are rng but it would appear based off the mr black exploit the rng is on a diamond spawn. More diamonds means more chances at a GO but it’s all down to rng.

Well, I’m sure the devs aren’t exactly thrilled that we have just about figured out how to manipulate diamond spawns, so I can see why they might not want us knowing the spawning mechanics of GOs

The rng is simple statistics. Flip a coin 100 times and the probability that coin will land heads is always 50%. So you could roll in 1 diamond spawn or 200. It’s always the same probability. Just matters when you hit the roll.

The amount of diamonds spawning through herd management was cool at first, but now I miss the days when everyone just shot everything and diamonds still had some significance

The thing about herd management I’ve come to admire is like…golf. So if you want diamonds to be significant then I wouldn’t play that way. But for someone who looks at the game and says I can always do better. I can fine tune. I can refine. I can get bigger or more. That’s who herd management is for.

Some people love golf. They play just because they love it. Others play to see if they can beat their score next time and that becomes the addiction and drive.

I played casually for years in cotw. Was amazing.

True, I’m kinda strict when it comes to certain methods of play. For example, I’m of the opinion that intentionally not claiming kills on a grind to speed up the process is exploiting an unintentional consequence of a change to an in-game mechanic

To each their own really. I claim everything. But I didn’t buy peoples games so I tend to not stress how people play.

Yeah I had a GO red and BB between each section of the grind so it broke it up and kept me going. Plus the time where WT weren’t going to their zones at all so that was a good break too

But I totally agree with what youre saying by the simple fa t that the truth is out now. Way back in the beginning the team tolf us that a reserve could only hold a certain number of trophy animals and lead us all to belive that there could only be 1 true diamind on our maps. They totally have been lying to us the entire time. Tbis stacking is now proof of that. Why lie to us? Theyve been lying for so many years now just to throw us off. Seems like we literally could make every animal on our maps diamond and have nothing but diamonds roaming around. Which on 1 hand would be cool. Bit lame at the same time since theres so little diamond variation.
