Aug platform is subpar honestly in comparison to a lot of the modern sbr’s along with its rate of fire and reloading which to many users would feel janky due to the rifle being a bull pup.

Plus the only considerable good one would be the Aug a3 but even then I’d rather take an sbr kitted out in Hera arms furniture

The only downside to smaller platform ar’s is typically the fireball that shoots out of them but a suppressor can reduce that drastically

740-860rpm definately isn't something you would find yourself complaining about on an AR

and I mean the f90/ef88 modified aug platforms

that is an exceptionally normal and suitable rpm that you wouldn't find yourself having issues with on an AR man's falls inline with stuff like the hk416, g36 platform, sig m3x among other ar15 patterns

the main issues people have is the heavy/uncomfortable trigger pull which the aug platform arguably does the best compared to many other bullpups

and plus with the f90/ef88 they made improvements on magazine comparability and easy to reload and added more rails for attachment comparability

there's a reason the Australian military use the ef88

and plus of course you get the ability to use like 16 inch (f90) aug barrels in the same form factor as 10 inch ar15 (mk18) barrels

and of course grievances with the short hand guard depending on your preferred ergonomics

it would be nice if they eventually modify the platform to give it a slightly longer handguard and reduce the camel hump it has over the receiver/barrel for the main top rail

Mk18 isn’t bad but I’d customize the hell out of it to work

The hk is just considerably bulkier
