i feel like this is a severe misinterpretation of the game, whitetail are class 4, the varying levels 1-3 that you see when you spot them are "difficulty" which is just an arbitrary numbers usually meaning the animal has better senses and is larger/"older"

so you would be looking for a class 4 rifle
