Okay so we recently bought a camp off a family friend and it has 2 lakes both have pike and bass but one has lakers

The one with lake trout has an average depth of 7.8m and one deep hole that's 38.1m but all throughout the shallows are riddled with pike and bass which is great

But idk where to find the Lakers or where they move depending on the conditions at the time

Also don't know what to throw or what techniques work

oh i thought you were meaning fishing for trout in lakes not the species lake trout, i dont know much about lakers but i think trolling with spinners or spoons would probably work. maybe jigging with spoons could also work but im not super sure.

Even more so our MNR stocks the lake with yearlings every year and they have to run a gauntlet to get to deep water before the bass and pike obliterate them my concern is few make it and if those few many Also probably get consumed by bigger lakers

I actually am a pike and bass guy first at heart so my tackle is tailored for it 50lb suffix braid had 40" musky only somewhat fray it

But we did try deep on Sunday but it was +4 with sleet falling so maybe the weather also had the trout switched off

Unfortunately my worry is the other fish species especially the pike have a buffet on the young trout that get stocked

And they have like .5km to swim to get to deep water

I'd hold on that you wanna make sure it's a good company especially for frogs low budget frogs the rubber isn't as strong and will squish down when on the water causing you to snag, also the hole on the bottom of where the hook goes on low budget frogs fill up with water causing it to not float and lastly the frog itself may have an off center of gravity causing it to orientate upside down increasing your snags

Just make sure first and look up reviews all Imma say

Quality of hooks and plastic mold is CRUCIAL for frogs
