Its usually based on the size of an animals trophy organ/size/antlers

okay so in the first image you can see the estimate on the spotting info and on the second image you can see the score needed to make diamond and bellow it you can see the actual score it got because this one scored 137 its between 124 - 151 so it made gold if it was above 151 it would be diamond the for the score estimate on the spotting info this one had a chance at making diamond because its top estimate was above 151 but its bottom estimate (highlighted in green) isnt close too 151 which means the actual chance of it being diamond is very low

Yeah solos can be tricky. I just ran the map and shot them until most of them were lvl 2 and that’s pretty much all I did

but there’s also a method where you stack lvl 5s in your zones and then go kill the solos and it will help make them spawn smaller
