Does anyone know how to complete the mission "Family Matters" in Cuatro Colinas? It says you need to "Take 4 pictures of different wolves" and I've taken pictures of at least 6 individuals from relatively short distances, 3 of them were attacking me and I was within 13 meters of the other 3. Does it need to be 4 individuals in the same photo instead?

I tried some zoomed and some not. Three wolves I photographed were literally walking at me, so I was very close to them, and I had sneaked to within 13 meters of another group of 3 and photographed them, both zoomed and not. The little character text bit about the mission says "Would you take a picture of a pack of wolves" though, even though the mission requirement says to take 4 pictures of different wolves, so I dont know which part I have wrong

I think it’s individual if I remember right

Photo missions tend to be buggy. Try taking a photo of some more wolves alone/in a pack and hope that you get it completed

If not, it might be broken but I think it’s just the game being picky with the photos you take

The best way I found to hunt them is to find their zones then put a blind next to the zone. You wouldn’t need decoys and it’s pretty easy to kill them that way.

All you’ll have to do is make sure you get there before the zone time starts

your animal populations are persistent. i.e. when you close the game, those same animals will be there next time you open it.

however, as needed, the developers can force a reset of some or all of the animals on a given reserve. what this means is that the animals in question are wiped and replaced with a fresh set of animals.

in the case of the upcoming update, all reserves except silver ridge peaks are getting complete population resets, meaning the entire population of animals will be wiped and replaced with new ones. they are doing this because they are doing redistributions of animal populations on all the reserves except Silver Ridge

As CashnipLeaf explained, the population is persistent (barring a reset). However, when you shoot and kill an animal, it is replaced by a new one, so the overall total population pool is the same. The respawns can come back (if the Random Number Gods favor you) as a rare fur/plumage type, and they can come back as a slightly higher or lower trophy score. (They come back as the same sex however.) The over all total pool of animals, however, is stable; it does not decrease the more you shoot.

-I highly recommend getting at least one trophy lodge if you don’t have one already. Between the two, saseka safari is probably the better value but it’s up to you to decide which one you want

If you want a .22 rifle for, say, wabbits and turkey, there’s three options:
-Virant .22LR (Class 1, Weapon pack 1)
-Zarza-15 .22LR (class 1, Modern rifle pack)
-Kullman .22H (Class 1-2, Mississippi Acres Preserve)

The virant is the best of the three, but the other weapons in the pack are bows, which may be of questionable value to you.

The kullman is the only rifle in the game that can do class 1-2, so it opens up some interesting loadout options if you decide to pursue it

The zarza-15 .22LR is serviceable, but the other weapons in the pack (the .308 in particular) may prove to be the deciding factor in getting this pack

That being said, since you already have WP3, the .308 may not have as much value as it otherwise would have

Mississippi is known to be a good small game map, and since you have the duck and cover pack, you’ve got a shotgun you can use on things like quail and rabbits (using birdshot) and raccoons (using buckshot. chasing raccoons with a shotgun is more fun than you’d initially think)

Bc everytime i use one after i hear a mating call of a specific animal they never call back or come closer

higher level animals may take more time to come to you

don't expect coyotes to walk right to the call, they approach the call by circling around you, and will never answer to the caller

k so personally ive found that once the beggining of the need zone begins they have between the time it begins to 30 mins later for them to arrive

a few may vary as there feed or rest zone may be farther

some may be sooner if there route overlaps any hostile animals
