You can actually do both with the moose. You just have to kill it fast enough after the picture before the mission completes. You also have to get lucky enough to have the mocha run around the lake instead of into the woods

Pretty much. I've used it on Sambar deer and it's like catching flies with honey. I have a tree stand and before I jump in it, I spray a few of the plants underneath the tree. Only takes about 30 seconds until I see them coming towards my tree

i'd play hirschfelden for the beauty of its scenery, however it is completely bugged for me. the vegetation, the totality of it, does not work (does not provide reduced visibility). since it's a vegetation heavy and short-engagement map, it's unplayable for me.

playing singleplayer is the best way to find diamonds and to be 100% sure they aren't cheated.
i wouldn't trust multiplayer animals unless you really know/trust the person hosting it.

that said, non cheated diamonds arent any more or less common in single or multi player maps.

layton lakes has a cooler animal set imo, but i don't like the reserve itself as much. haven't explored any of them fully though, hirsch or layton.

depending on how patient you are, layton lakes might be easier.
from my hirsch experience, it takes more patience and stalking through bushes etc.
layton is more likely to give you animals in the horizon/clear line of sight for easier and more frequent shots.

I can still hunt them pretty much just as effectively as when they weren’t bugged, so to me it seems like the bugginess of the geese is exaggerated quite a bit, they are alert pretty much all the time, the Brown Hybrid plumage type is spawning too frequently and they spook when they are just outside reliable shotgun range, the only bad bug about the geese right now is the Brown Hybrid geese, you can still shoot a ton of them in a short time and earn a ton of money, just use a .22 rifle and shoot them out of the air.

Tips in general? I apparently suck at hunting 😆 This is the first game I've tried like this (aside from rdr2) and I suck. I never see any animals, and when I do, I either see them too late and they run, or they're super far away and I can't keep up with them. @merry kestrel If all you can find is does, you haven't found all your drink zones just yet. You can try shooting a few females in each zone to try to have them get replaced with a male spawn from harvesting males elsewhere

But you have to harvest some males somewhere else to have the chance of that male spawning in the place of that female. Then that female will spawn elsewhere or right back where it was

It's almost certainly the .223. Lighter bullets are easier to push. Also, the 6.5 is modelled on the 6.5x55mm Swedish, not the Creedmore which has a shorter, fatter case (and better ballistics) and the .300 is modelled on the .300 Weatherby which has even more oomph than the WinMag and which I believe matches up with the rifle which looks to me a lot like a Weatherby Mk 5 although I've never handled one in RL. Might want to use the in-game names to help others who aren't calibre monkeys... ;-)

well - I can make an informed guess as to what the game does but no more than that. however, I'd think the .223 is probably modelled on a light bullet, given the classes - 50gr perhaps, or 55gr, for which my lee manual lists a 3500fps MV for a maximum load; the win mag with a 150gr pill is around 3350fps for a maximum load

anyway - all academic - we don't know what they puit in the game files

I can absolutely confirm that male gray foxes are missing audio for their mating calls. Had one sound off within 100 meters, not a peep was actually heard.

A little late but since no one else answered, my friends and I decided upon this by hopping into the maps in multiplayer to see if we liked them and liked the animals there. If we did, and got the "I want to play this for hours" itch, that's when we knew we wanted to buy that map for ourselves to play it in single uninterrupted.

Though there are also several videos on youtube for opinions as well. Generally I see the savannah rank high for the unique animals, and silver ridge for it being wide open and having a large amount of herds kind of everywhere.
