My brother told me to come here for hopefully some help with a COTW issue.
I have tried absolutely everything i know to try. I just bought and downloaded on steam. I launch the game, i get the few loading screens fine, and all of my audio is fine. as soon as i get to the main menu or even into a map, i lose ALL system audio. Game audio dies. Discord audio dies. Youtube/twitch audio dies. i legit cant hear ANYthing. every 30 seconds or so i will get a millisecond of sound but thats literally it.
I have a go xlr mini. reset / reinstalled all drivers and did tons of online research and came up with NOTHING>...... any help is greatly appreciated..

I've had games mess us entire system audio. I was using a usb to 1/4 mono at the time. sometimes things get weird. you could try disconnecting all but a basic audio output (like 1/8 headphones) and see if that works. then build your way back up from there if it does.

this is why zone rotation is important: to make sure you are not building up too much pressure in one area of the map
its better to kill a few animals at a bunch of zones than a bunch of animals at a few zones

if they are wounded but wont die you can just wait for them to come back to their zone, they usually will eventually

It's a thing that had happened over the years. Resetting skills / perks have given extra points or something along those lines. I've seen other creators and players who've played for long and have reset their skills often have extra points.

Muzzleloader is good but it can only take one animal from a herd. Most of the game is grinding respawns so if you can only take down one animal at a time it doesn’t work for grinding. But yeah the power is insane

It really depends on if you have the perks, if you’re not at that point in the game where you have those perks it may be a little more difficult to reliably take out more than one animal at a time

Everyone knows the penetration on the muzzle is better. But the M1 drops class 4 animals on the spot, class 5’s run 15m with vitals, class 6 runs maybe 30m with vitals. And when you can accurately down 5x more animals with the M1 than the muzzle, it would make sense that the M1 would be the better choice in a game in which you need to kill more animals to get more trophy animals. That’s all I’m saying

You’d need to investigate a little more. Like spot the ducks then mark how far away they are when they’re spooking or disappearing. If it’s over 200 or so meters then it may be something funky
