they drink in the dark mostly. their feed zones are mostly up on the hillsides and in deep timber. i'd advise looking for them up high and trying to find a few feed zones. most of them eat from 2-4 pm. when I hunt them, i mostly try to catch them moving between water and feed zones from 6-am to noon. They respond to callers much better when they're on the move. The higher slopes to the north of the central river and to the east of the lakes in Pukemaro are good. They're also pretty much all over the place on the west and southwest part of the map

And how it seems like they have the setup is you cannot buy bundles after you own the base game but they generally put the price of the DLCs individually at around the same price as it would be if you bought the bundle so it's not really saving or hurting much I think I actually managed to buy all the DLCs for cheaper than the bundle itself on pc at least I don't know what you're on that was during the winter sale on Steam

Bison? If you're worried about them charging you and you just want to explore a bit, go ATV. They'll run away.
But so will everything else a long ways around.

fathom sentinel any tips on hunting turkeys in COTW

I had better luck along the big river that divides Te Awaroa north and south around the eastern side of it. Had more turkeys then I could shoot (didn't want to destroy the many need zones I found along the route). Approach from eastern side and move along the south shore towards the west through this massive tall dark forest area and you should find the wind and the turkeys to be good for you. Use the mouth caller if you wish, but I found so many that I never needed a caller. Certainly easier and funner to hunt them in Te Awaroa than SRP...

Basically, what Zeroing does is set the sights to give the bullet an arcing trajectory so that it will hit on the crosshairs at a given distance. For instance, if the rifle is zeroed for 150m, the bullet will hit on the crosshairs at 150m. At 75m, it will hit high, and at 300m, it will hit low

Alright, I am hoping someone can help me cause I really don't want to have to re-explore the entire map again, but after I verified my game files, I lost all my map data but not my character data. I still have all my money, guns, ect. I have the game backed up to steam cloud, but I have no idea which file I would have to download to get my map back or if the map data is even backed up to the could. Any advice?

rifle unless you're trained with iron sights. rifle with Hyperion scope can't be beat in my opinion when using a .22 for small game

You'd ideally need to stack pressure onto a single "point" as much as you can

Best done with a herd of animals in a need zone, and a weapon with at least 3 shots

#

In my experience 3 animals killed with anything but bows on the same general area seems to do the trick

#

You can go for 4 animals instead, just to make sure, but that'll delete the need zones so beware

If you're not even making it to the menu, it's a corrupted save.

you have to go into the game files and replace it with a backup, or if you don't have a backup, delete it manually. Same thing happened to me 2 days ago.

don't buy the dog dlc. it's still very new and has some glitches, plus if you're decent at the game you really don't need the dog. the goose pack is really helpful because of the shotgun it includes and i believe it allows access to decoys and the caller? either way geese are fantastic money makers and fun to hunt. weapon pack 1 isn't necessarily helpful because the bows are just fun to use but if you're buying that you get the 22 rifle which allows you to take way WAY further shots on class 1 animals. if i were you i would definitely go with the goose dlc @lavish saddle

Bighorns are concentrated to the west and north sides of the map. The circled lakes are where I've gotten diamonds. The lake with the 'x' through it is the only one on that side of the map where I've never spotted one
