okay, so. a little question, figured it'd go better here. I have a moose grind set up, I've been very careful on it. In this one zone I've set up on, for a long time now, I've only noticed there being females in the zone, when I very distinctly remember there being at least two males before. am I possibly just missing when the males are there, or is there something I could have done on accident to cause this?

Your dogs can actually spook the animals I’ve had it happen a few times when the animals came up on my dog when in a stand or blind etc and they can also spook them with the pointer roll as well I’ve had it happen in the beginning of training them with it especially if they get right up on it before you put the perks in and etc

Mississippi is a very good place for those classes, as well as Te Awaroa. Te Awaroa is probably the best map you could use for the starter weapon, as all but 2 animals are able to be ethically taken with a class 2-6 weapon

No, not easily. Bullets tend to just stop unless it’s something directly below the water.

And even then it’s only sometimes. Gators and Crocs in the water are finicky.

about 80 kills into my first fallow grind, why are my respawns consistent in some zones but not in others?

consistency depends entirely on the herd

herds with 3/4 females are consistent for fallow

everything else isn't consistent

Herd management isn't necessary, unless looking for some invisible pat on the back for dime rates, super rares, or just because you want to.....

G1 is rng based, and there are some theories that herd management helps, but that gets blown out of the water as soon as someone spawns a g1 in 1 or 2 kills.

Find all your zones, when setting up all you need to worry about is male to female ratio

It 100% depends on your hunting style.

The feeders give you access to animals in a spot of your choosing basically, and the dogs are 50/50

I usually just walk around and look for feeding and resting areas or listen for noises, ik that’s not the best way to hunt but sitting in one spot bores me lol

Ok so the “initial spawns” are the animals you have when you first start the map. They’re the animals that are initially there. Basically there’s a chance for rares and diamonds to be on your maps to start with.

Not really, I’ve stumbled upon albinos and melas, and even some diamonds just walking around areas I haven’t explored.
