im a newbie but i suggest you use the spray that cancels out your scent, and if i just hear an animal i crouch and dont move for a 10 seconds

and then slowly move towards it

especially becareful with bears

also there are skills that make you generate less noise so make sure to get those too

Well Base max weight is 20, tents and tripods weigh 12 total so you only 8 total weight available 2 rifles gonna weigh 7 minimum so you'll only have extra space for 2 scopes or only the binoculars

Remove everything put the tents and tripods in then see what all you can add

The trouble with that is I want a gun that can kill a Turkey and one that can kill a larger animal such as a moose or elk so adding another gun with it without getting a ammo penalty is tough its the in between thats killing me been using the electronic caller as well with some success but it has a carry weight. Im just not trying to have to switch around my loadouts

With basic weight limit you can have 2 gun one tent or tripod or just carry 3 gun no tent or tripod

Hey guys, I'm kinda new to the game and have saved some animals for taxidermy later but is there a way to check what my saved animals look like? Like how big his horn etc. The storage /lodge only show their point and fur type.

Not really, but if you have happened to taxidermy any of them you can place them and remove them at will

The only other way I could think is that you begin screenshot the harvest screen and make note of:

• medal
• fur/feather/scale color
• date shot

Then you could go through the photos at a later time, and have the notes to reference for the saved ones

Lots and lots of running around and learning where they live and what they do different times of the day, look up guide maps and videos, hunt more open areas when they're feeding or hunt more dence areas when they are resting and just learn all you can

Really depends on what you’re hunting. I like the 22-250 for classes 2-4, the 270 Stradivarius for 4-7, and the aryzna 300 for 7-9. For 1, I generally use the 12 gauge with 6 round magazine, the Anderson .22 pistol, or the Virant Alaska .22

Quick question, does having all the black bear drinking zones affect the 4 lake grind for the great one ? I have a bunch of 6's and 7's on other lakes in my map but they are by themselves so if I shoot them I will lose the zone. Trying to figure it out as I'm only getting 1 or 2 bears per lake, any tips would be appreciated thanks 🙂

having all your zones will help make your respawns more consistent, and also if you count up how many bears you have total in the top 4 and it’s less than 10 you probably have bouncers

if not bouncers then you started grinding with a low amount in your mains and you should try to get more. Believe 10-15 is the sweet spot

You probably overshot because the rabbit was closer to you than the 40 meters you were zeroed at. Did you use the Ranging sight?

But yeah you probably just overshot. If you are trying to hit an animal under 40m just aim a little low.

Also the base bow sights are helpful because the pins are set at set ranges.

This works quite well for me to earn money quick
On hirschfelden if you go into one of the fields that have geese if you have a tripod or maybe something like a tent to sit on top of if you set one of them down and have the canada goose caller, call them in wait for them to land then you can shoot like 4 or 5 if lucky and you can earn decent money also it takes your rifle score up and levels you up
