the purple appears whenever you kill an animal. if you kill too many, not sure how many it is, it'll get rid of any drinking/feeding/resting zones in that purple area. you can reduce the amount of hunting pressure caused by kills by killing animals from a tripod or hunting stand of some sort. but yes, if you go elsewhere and kill animals, the purple will build up there instead and slowly reduce in the previous area. hope that helps 🙂 there's videos on youtube about it

Drilling riffle is an unique one weapon. It can use 3 types of shotgun ammo and 1 riflee ammo.
To switch between shotgun and riffle you need to hold reload button for a second (R by deffault)
To switch between shotgun types of ammo hold middle mouse button (radiand menu will pop up) select your Drilling riffle (dont release middle mouse) and pres "Q"

If you want the best loadout it’s just all the semi auto rifles and either a shotgun or a 22 for class 1 with a 243

Me personally if I’m really hunting class 4-8 I do prefer the m1 garand due to it being 30-06

You can technically be knocked out and it will respawn you to an Outpost or tent

Be weary of jumping down mountains and aggressive animals. Or animals running over you in general

Drowning will luckily just put you at the edge of the water again

I some cases you can encounter aggressive animals and if you die it will take some time to come back from nearest house / tent. In that case med kit can be useful (to delay your death).

Handguns/shotguns are probably your best bet.
I use these
In handguns, Sprint & Load, 1/2 of quick feet, ranger, 3/3 lightning hands
In shotguns, 1/2 both eyes open, 1/2 fast shouldering, 2/2 body control, 3/3 recoil management.

You don’t need to use the guns to use a perk point in it,
Also let’s say you get the “recoil management” perk under shotguns, it’ll effect all guns not just shotguns

Hello guys, i am new to the game and i know you need to shoot the vital organs or head if you want a instal kill but..
It just doesnt work for me? I shot a deer right to the head like that was the most perfect shot and it was actualy bleeding but very low bleeding and it didnt die, i lost it when tracking.
And also the vitals, i tried shotting to the lungs thinking it will make it bleed out but no, the deer jumps off to the other side dropping few drops of little blood and i can track that deer as much as i can, damm boy it just never dies.
And so i am asking for your tip, if i am doing something wrong. I already have the correct ammo and i have really good aim as i am skilled FPS player but i just dont understand what i am doing wrong that the damm animal not going down

That depends on if you're enjoying them and what map you're playing. Some of the dlc's have guns at the end of their story lines

But also some maps (the first two, heirsh and Layton) have missions that go on forever, so it's a good idea to not focus on those ones lol

The Africa dlc has the best story out of all the ones I've played so far

You need to choose 8 male and female herds and setup on those. Shoot every male on them except for 9s until you’ve got roughly 13 9s stacked. After you have the 9s stacked go to the exteriors and shoot anything level 5+ until you’re happy with it

my favorite is the Zagan Varminter .22-250 from the Emerald Coast. It weighs the same as the .223 and 1.5kg less than the .243, and it outperforms the .223 as well with 25 penetration.

I don't think predators care about hunting pressure. I've turned the lakes pink shooting bears and lions and they always come back. More likely it respawned further away. It has happened to me a few times, they tend to stick to the same lakes but every now and then one goes missing and I have to do a grand tour to find it.

Ok if you are out of renter distance of the animals which is 416m when you fast travel to the tent the animals will not spook unless they see you smell you or hear you

If you're within renter of the animals 416m they will Auto spook if they are within 150 to 200 M of the tent

Because of the sound you make traveling to the tent

They won't spook and they will be rendered in almost inside of the tent if it's too close to the zone

It could be that the respawn hasn't happened yet. If you quit and reload it will force the respawns, but if you stay on the map sometimes they take a while. The animal might have respawned in a different location, or it could also have respawned normally but didn't show up at its drink zone for some reason. I usually check a drink zone three times before I decide the spawn wandered, then I check nearby water sources.

Modern rifle pack is best - it gives you the Zarza 10 .308 (classes 4-8) and a .22. (class 1)
High calibre weapon pack is next best - it gives you the Arzyna .300 mag (classes 7-9)

I use the .22 for class 1, ranger (starter gun) for 2-3, Zarza for 4-6 and Arzyna for 7-9.

Bloodhound is great for tracking high level prey from experience, I never go without one.

The farthest shot I’ve made with it was 125 ish yards

As you use it you’ll begin to understand it but it’s not like a gun where it’s point and shoot there’s still the fact that it drops heavily and understanding where your arrow will land at what distance matters heavily and where to aim to compensate for that.

Most people don’t use bows because there difficult to use but that’s what u enjoy about them tbh

Hey! So generally, you will want to shoot high level moose in exteiors and the lower levels from your main zones. You are basically trying to get those small animals out to the exteriors, and the larger ones into mains. I focus on shooting level 3 and up primarily overall. But keep in mind that you cant let 2s build up in your main zones, or you will run out of things to shoot. So with main zones i make sure i have at least 2 shootable males at all times. Unless i happen to be stacking to accelerate the shooting down process of exterior zones.

Killing "One animal on a zone" will force zone to move. It can go to other spot or "join" this animal to other zone. Global ammount of zones are not depleted and always the same for your map.

Recently been playing the game not particularly the best in anyway but I decided that I wanted to hunt for my first diamond whixh I chose the mountain lion. Anyway, been going to loads of them little/bigger lakes up on the top of the map and around it and if I’m ever lucky to find any to begin with majority are seen to be level 3s? ty i know from my RD GO grind to only shoot males.. the issue is that the LVL 1 has respawned everytime.. Since she appeared no males but her have benn at my drink zones.. Therein lies the issue.. she is not allowing males to respawn.. i spent the better part of two hours restarting times and the game to force spawn tigers.. i have 5 rares and 2 diamonds but i want a super rare which will not be a super rare bc pl are doing the grind.. they will get them...

Hey oddly welcome to the community so you need to unlock your first outpost. The missions should lead you to it. Once there and unlocked you can access it all usually either from a shipping crate outside the outpost building or inside with a gun case and radio. I can’t remember exactly what it looks like on Layton right now. You can grab your 4 wheeler there too

Give it a try if not you can do a complete reinstall or try updating graphics drivers too other than that support can help you I’ve seen them help others with crash issues

You get something about 2k from first quest (discover lookout tower and house). It is enough to buy 20-30 ammo.
