If you want a higher chance to have higher level spawn. As well as greater great1 spawn rates do it. Also a chance you'll get fur spawns on it.

There is no definitive proof of increased GO spawns.

Herd Management DOES increase diamonds. It basically works the spawn algorithm to compensate for the low levels and pushes for more diamonds

Willow Ptarmigan (both max at 3). (female rocks supposedly max score at 700)
Gray fox (both max at 9).
Then basically everything not listed above makes Diamond as male

I've noticed my drilling rifle's 9.3 mm round (class 7-9) drops bears (7) and moose (8) more easily than the zarza (class 4-8)

Ok I'll try to explain it the best way I can.

-Herd management-
1st find your zones on the animal you're hunting. Drinking zones are generally better because more groups will be available to shoot since they generally go to the Same area where as feed zones they are spread out.

2. Set up your tripods roughly 250 meters away from drink zones as the animals will not scare away when you shoot from 250 meters. This allows you to take multiple shots from the tripod without scaring animals.
   But if you fire more than once within 10 seconds I've noticed animals do spook within that distance.... so if I have more than one drink zone nearby I don't fire more than once per zone.

3. Tents set your tent around 250 meters from any drink zone. This enables you to properly have enough distance between you and the animals to render in correctly.

4. Choose your favorite zones and zones you don't want to shoot at. A good start I'd say on starting off is 3 to 4 zones. 3 zones you shoot and 1 zone you put your low levels on.

5. Stacking is when you choose not to kill high levels so lower levels have a better chance at respawning in places where you don't want to shoot as much.
   At your bad drink zone.
   This allows higher levels to have a better chance at respawning higher at your good drink zones.

No, you kill only high levels and let all low levels stay. The more low levels = higher chance for a high level to spawn, so when one does you can kill it then it’ll probably be replaced with another high level aslong as you don’t kill any low levels

Then just set the time back, exit to main menu to TP them to their zones and repeat that process

The 7mm is definately better (as a cartridge) than the .308 on moose. If you're able to use that zarza to put two .308 holes in the moose that might complicate things.

But I've killed a lot of moose with the break barrel 7mm and it gets the job done with the one bullet every time given good shot placement.

Veterans will advocate a .338 or .300 if you can afford that.

The original 243 will do pretty much everything the .223 does better (sadly).
For large game consider a .338 or even a bow. But the loadout you described is gold too.

I dont think I'll ever stop using the 7mm, tbh.
I stopped using the base-game 7mm and now use the malmer. While moose will still run a fair distance with a lung shot, it gets the job done. Especially with bears and bison.

Are the moose actually bulkier than bison? They seem harder to kill.

personally I dont use medkits or scents as i find they dont do a whole bunch for me and aslong as you can position yourself correctly you wont need the scents anyways. i usually run a big game gun, medium game gun, and small game gun along with deer bleat caller and moose caller (varies on some maps) and a tent if i end up finding an area i feel would be good for grinding or need something from my storage/store. I dont use a handgun as i fell the window class for animals is a little to small for it to be worth it and it takes up too much space.

The wife and I are hunting using the Couso model 1897 soldado shotgun, we both have the zeroing Perk activated, BUT as you'll see in the picture with my shotgun on the right, I can get a range of 150m, whereas with her shotgun on the left she can only get a range of 75m! Same gun, same ammo! We can't see any differences between her game and mine or why she can only get 75m range and I have 150m! Any guesses and help would be appreciated TIA.

They could come in late, you spawn to close to the zone that they don't render in.

However if you're wanting to stay there I'd say find animals drink zones or feed zones. Then go at that time.

Dog is a great time saver if you spend a lot of time tracking down shot animals. Their range is something like 80 meters they can smell blood around you and run through to the animal
