So, I shot a Cape Buffalo and tracked it to a point where it stopped bleeding. Around that point, I had to defend myself and killed a separate Buffalo. I kept tracking the original buffalo, without the bleeding, for quite a ways. I realized at one point I was near a hill overlooking the water and sure enough, the herd was there. Except there was only 1 level 7 buffalos, not 2 like there were before. So I kept tracking, and eventually the trail just...stopped. There were other tracks around it, I could see it's old tracks nearby as it had doubled back, but it just wasn't there.

Is this a thing, a bug, or did I do something to lose the buffalo?

an easier way to gring them is to herd manage. you do this by killing the couple lowest males in the herd. if you have 2 males plus some females, you can take the lowest one and a female. so on and so forth. i typically dont kill them if they are the only male in the group though. then i just wait for the respawns

The 22 from weapon pack one is the best class 1 rifle available in the game and the power pack gives a bolt action 308 7mm and 338

With the 243 you'll be set for anything in the game

Don’t forget about the modern weapons pack the 308, 223, and 22 ARs are very strong

The only issue is that it doesn’t cover class 9 but it covers all other classes

but its up to user preference.

I suggest going on MP and trying out the maps to see what one suits you best

OPen steam, click on View on the top menus, then click on screenshots - then click the dropdown menu and select Show on Disk

It should bring üp the folder they are in - and from there its just click and drage
