what is best way to hunt alligator's and raccoons

You already asked about how to hunt raccoons and I answered that.

As for Alligators, you need to find their rest zones and try to spot them when they're resting from 09:00 onwards.

You will be going for brain shots because it's the only reliable way to kill them quick enough to keep them from sinking.

You can snipe them from across the river by hitting them in the crease behind their eye with a flat shooting, high-pen caliber like the .30-06 .

Alternatively, it is possible to headshot them while swimming if you're a good shot. The absolute best way to do that is to hit them in the back of the scalp as they swim away from you. That gives the bullet less skull and bone to pen to get to the brain. If you hit low you can get upper spine which will also kill it quick.

The alligators in this game have a superior sense of smell and hearing, even when under water. You will inevitably spook some of them but try to map one of their need zones, preferably rest zone if possible.

Also, one more thing about the raccoons, they don't spawn across the entire map, only certain zones.
If you think of the meandering river through the map (not the large west river) as a raceway, raccoon territories are usually on the inside of the 'turns'. That'd be a place to look for drink zones.

3 very easy
5 medium
9 legendary
10 fabled (Great one)

and yes you can get a diamond of every species, some animals even have it where females can be diamond as well as males (grey fox, gemsbok ect)
