The killzones appear where you shot the animal, not where it dies. Simply hunt animals somewhere else further away to make the killzones leave. If you play in multiplayer, the killzones pressure is there for all players

Kind of. All of them have a special fur type or a few (though in the case of whitetail and moose, it's rare and uncommon respectively)

you also want to be prepared to COMMIT to a grind.

if no dlcs and are looking for money go and get every out post on your map and try and grind one specific animal. shoot only 2-3 a zone to not delete the zone. you don’t have to hunt them daily just make a couple runs once in awhile. another way is to join a srp map and hunt bison. if you have any rifle pack shoot them with you biggest caliber(don’t shoot the lvl5s unless u have a class 9 gun) and just keep shooting them. even with the wrong caliber and like 8-9 shots you still make 500-1000$ per bison. now if you have the goose dlc set up in a corn field on hirsh and blast away. if u have Vurhunga savanna set the time to lion drink time and kill lions.

The .45-70 lever is like a shorter range, 3-shot version of the 7mm. It has a notable drawback which is that you need a separate scope and it doesn't have mil-dots.

The .243 is better than the .223 from the Modern pack. The .22 is nice if you don't have any other .22, but the real star is the .303

I'm looking at the first page of Ron's spreadsheet and it has two separate listings for the medium tradbow arrows. Says it's class 4-8 with the recurve and 4-7 with the longbow, is this the case?

Also; have you been able to ascertain excactly which weapons are affected by the 'pumping irons' perk in the Archery tree? (As in, which weapons have altered trajectory on their arrow or bolt).

Turkey decoys don’t work the same way that waterfowl decoys do. With turkeys, you’re supposed to walk around till you see some like a few hundred meters away (should be easy with the locater call) and then you set up and wait for them to come in

At least that’s how it works in game as of now, with turkeys not flying around the map like waterfowl do, it’s hard to use them like you do waterfowl decoys

I have had COTW for quite a while now and just recently got back into the game, I have played around 100 hours and yet only have 3-4 diamonds I get so many troll diamonds that have the right score when spotting but always a gold any tips on how to spawn diamonds

Well, for starters, the score estimate indicates only what range an animal might score in. Unless the minimum score is above the diamond requirement, then it’s far from guaranteed (specific racks can be guaranteed, however).
It just comes down to a matter of luck mostly
