Well guys, I've put in quite a bit of time in this game both solo and with friends and I'd like to share some of the thoughts we have shared with each other on how Call of the Wild 2 could be a masterpiece with major improvements.

1: More gun modifications, silencers, magazine size upgrades, etc.
2: More mounts, especially horses (could have similar upgrade paths as dogs), multiperson vehicles to have the ability to have a buddy shoot out the back while chasing down boars would be great.
3: Complete addition of fishing from CotW: The Angler. This would add a lot of variety to utilize a single reserve for multiple playstyles.
4: Photography. I have a lot of friends that love the world of CotW but are not into hunting, and it would be great to get them into the game through world exploration and photography as a skill like hunting and fishing paths. Upgradable equipment like other cameras, lenses, tripods, etc, and quests/challenges to take photos of certain game or game in action (predators hunting/prey in certain environments/certain furs/etc).
5: Robust optional questlines that would include all of these mechanics, and multiplayer questlines.

the Devs needing to actually dedicate resources/time to updating the game engine that they proabably just don't have the budget for being a free patch

plus there's alot of other stuff in a similar vein that proabably needs an overhaul but requires too much modification of the game engine so it would be more worthwhile to just outright develop a new engine for a new game then alter so much in the existing game if they were to ever address it

also it's surprising now the hunter classic to hunter cotw was an 8 year timespan between releases and now cotw has hit it's 9th year

13 expansion vs 12 expansion between 30-06 and 7mm magnum, with both rounds penetrating fully through the animal, the result is pretty much the same

my fallow rifle is the Hansson 30-06 (the AK) but I could probably make just as good use out of the SKS as well, the SKS is going to be my Roe rifle

Modifications are something you do to firearms in real life, not just COD. But I see your point!

To clarify though,
Suppressors could have very minimal impact on the game, possibly just a VERY slight delay to animal reactions.

Mainly an impact on the multiplayer sound experience.

Mods that could see a worthwhile spend on in game cash would be recoil pads, that help you take slightly faster follow up shots. Bipods for obvious reasons. Way more optics.

After 150+ hours most players still spending much cash in game? I feel it wouldn't hurt to have a few more options to minimally impact the player experience.

still, faster deaths and wider margin of error makes the SKS the superior roe deer weapon

I’m mega hm fallow deer and I have about 4-6 more exterior fallow deer. My dime rate jumps from a 1-5 to a 1-15 or worse (I’m guessing because my exterior deer jump out of the spawn pool or something) but anyways. I shot my stacked dimes because I thought I was fully hm’d, I had no more exteriors and then when I shot my dimes 4-6 more exteriors spawned in. Now I can’t get them hm’d and it’s making my dime rate and my respawns cooked (it goes good sometimes) point it when I stack dimes to try get them managed down they just don’t spawn in at all until I shoot those stacked dimes. It’s like they don’t spawn in unless I’m shooting fallow deer. I dunno what to do just wondering if anyone knew anything I could do
