Yeah so if you shoot that big buck and a small from a different zone (typically main zone) exit to the main menu which sends them both back for a respawn, it doesn't happen all the time but there's a good chance they will swap zones.

As someone who's worked alongside developers as they go through that process, I would say it's unlikely. The UI in the game would fail a lot of the checks required for it to get that status.

I would say: if you don’t get a lot of animals right away: don’t be frustrated and hunt drinkzones, definitely download the cotw companion app to be able to quickly check if an animal is rare (idk if it’s on android tho, but definitely on ios), don’t hesitate to look up tutorials on anything you might need more detailed tips about on YouTube, and try to just have fun with the game and not focus on great one grinds yet.
