Try to pick a zone you like hunting. Set your marker to that zone location and track 200-250m away, set your tent down. You can place your blind 50m away (idk if you can go closer, I personally keep it at 50 cause I've had birds sus me out any closer) 50 is good range for most shot guns. Go away from the spot/reset time to the zones time and slowly/ quietly get into your blind, spot them, get your dog (if you have a pointer) to flush em, and shoot. Pheasants will only give e you a trophy if theyre in flight.

I joined a modded reserve last night without knowing it was modded, I shot a lion and a wildebeest, both of which were albino diamonds, I thought I had gotten incredibly stupidly lucky with 2 super rare fur types, but when I went to harvest I saw that they both were diamonds and it was clearly modded in. I didn’t harvest them and promptly left, I don’t understand why people mod the game like that

Ok so the yellow and red zones on this map are mallatd need zones to hunt. Red are the better areas. Personally, for decoys and blinds, I think the area I circled in blue is ideal. Find anywhere in that area with a decent vantage point and set up.

G1 spawn chances are determined by %chance on repawn but only on respawns you harvested. If you dirty grind (kill, reset map without harvesting to force respawn, repeat) none of those kills can respawn as G1.

Ironically enough, even though other species fight and have wars, it is all for survival in terms of food, territory and resources.

Humans are likely the only ones that have fought wars that weren't because of those.

Most of older wars were started because someone insulted king's queen. So just ego.

I got a thrift-shop version of the standard grind that I enjoy doing. Instead of setting up tents and Tripods everywhere, I just set tents and carry a pop-up blind with me. Fast travel to each zone, set my blind, shoot, pick my blind up and travel to the next. Saves millions over the course of a few map setups.

Varies by species, but it's a rough indicator of both quality and actual animal awareness.

For Whitetail, a level 3 is a diamond potential. They're more aware than level 1-2 whitetail. Especially the females.

That's why notoriously difficult species tend to range up to difficulty 9; They're actually harder to hunt. Relatively speaking.

Yeah he's balancing HM and G1 grind so instead of shooting zones down I recommended he just leave the 1s and 2s but shoot every other male in all 30 zones to maximize animal kills per rotation. I'm mildly jealous of his zone layout, it's way better than mine.
