The E-Caller acts as a replacement for decoys. Place it where you would put decoys and it will call them in. Though decoys have a larger attraction radius, it still works very well.

You can supplement with a standard caller as it has a 500m range as well. The benefit of decoys is convincing geese to land at a pre-designated area rather than right on top of you, and the E-caller does that too.

.22lr, and 45 Air Rifle are the only rifles that won't spook at 150m. The .243 is the only rifle that reaches class 6 capability that can hunt somewhat silently at 300m.

If you want to efficiently hunt large game silently, get the crossbow. It can take class 2-7 animals at 175m and class 7-9 at 125m, accurately.

The E-Caller definitely works, I use it frequently.

You can place it, activate it and keep it in an area indefinitely. Even if you travel across the map or leave to another map, it will be there when you return.

I use it in a couple different ways.

1- I set it near a feeder when I'm deer hunting to call in fox and/or turkey, so I can simultaneously hunt numerous species passively.

2- waterfowl hunting, as a replacement for decoys of up to 2 species.

You're likely in the wrong area for the species you're trying to call. You need to be within 200m of their need zones, or along their travel path between zones.

Gun is in the in game store at your tent or outpost, you buy it for free and equip it by going to your box and putting it into your inventory and then going to your inventory and placing it on your equipment wheel

The the dog is equipped by going to the same stash and going to the kennel option

And then the ATV is the same stash but select "garage" instead

Only thing I can think of beyond that is either your anti-virus is flagging it, which can happen on valid files, or your drivers are outdated. Try disabling your anti-virus for 5min during startup and see if that works, and if it doesn't, consider doing a full update cycle on your PC.

Also, this is just a theory, but I think shooting an animal with over/underpowered weapons might increase pressure generated. I've noticed that 90% of the time when hunting with a rifle, 3 kills is the threshold before the 4th kill creates a dead zone, but I do occasionally forget that Mule deer are class 5 and shoot them with a class 2-4 rifle, and doing this seems to make the 3rd kill generate a dead zone.

I'm not confident if this is what's happening though. I'll have to test further.

For class 2-4 specifically, I genuinely believe the Ranger .243 is one of the best choices you can ask for. It doesn't have the firepower of some other class 2-6 rifles, but it's got a lower sound profile and free ammunition. And that free ammo can, with proper shot placement, take class 5 game at 400m, or double lung at 200m.

I have a visual condition linked with migraines but luckily I don’t suffer from them but I basically just have the aura and visual disturbances from it . 😭😭 every second of every day

I hate the dark bc it just be weirrdddd looking tv static with some big spiders jiggling about . .. can I just see DARK . Or nothing like a normal person

unfortunately its just totally random when they happen for me, neuropathic or whatever, once the visual aura kicks in i've got about 10 minutes to chuck down painkillers and get into a dark room for it to pass quicker

There have been map backfills in the past , as well as specific bugs or terrain issues can be fixed in patches

Typically they only fix like major major terrain issues tho like . Falling through the map

They’re not gonna retexture the maps and make em prettier in a patch just . Critical stuff
