I think a animal respawns when another dies. Be sure to shoot trophy animals because the respawns are usually the same size

I personally just run around on silver ridge with a caller, shotgun, and .22 but if you wanna tryhard you can memorize certain hotspots where flocks like to spawn and go around on other people's multiplayer maps
