Yeah it’s up in the air. Statistically it seems hm provides shorter to normal length grinds while no hm ranges from short to long, (both have outliers) but it’s not confirmed to help or not help

Some think it can help! For sure. We don’t know for certain- it’s just pretty popular knowledge that overall HM isn’t required. Most people have similar grind #s regardless. For the most part, it doesn’t seem to matter. However, I am of the camp that believes it works at least for black bear. That’s how most of us with crazy HM have super short grinds. Then again, it’s not guaranteed, as you have crazy HM’d grinds that still take thousands

To put it simply, I think HM does help to some degree but only slightly influences the chances of g1 spawning. You can still have them spawn off any claimed male kill and it doesn’t guarantee they’ll spawn quicker.

I need help!! So I played COTW on my ps4 for years over 800hrs had just gotten my first G.O and then I got a PS5 when I downloaded the game back I downloaded the ps4 version because all my data was on my external hard drive on my ps4 (still use it on my ps5) it doesn’t let me “continue” when I open the game it only lets me pick new game. I’m afraid to do that because of all my stuff being lost. I still have all my add on packs but I really don’t wanna loose my stuff.
