Look for more swamps and keep exploring. Need to do swamp things (and mountain things too) before there's really much point in starting on plains, plus it will be very hard right now

Not uncommon to come across a biome, especially swamp, without much of use in it. Just gotta look for more, such is the nature of procedural generation

It can be difficult for some to recognize if they have fist weapons or knives or other small weapons equipped because they're hard to visually see without diverting your eyes to the UI

I think it just makes sense to me not put them away when they don't slow me, and so I break the muscle memory

okayyyy coming back to this... there is only the .fwl file available to drop in. It won't take both at once nor will it allow me to just do the .db file (Data Base File). Not sure what to do, since if I just put in the .fwl file it will show me the same Queen locations (one of which, as I mentioned earlier, I looked around the area for and definitely did not find).

Use a blunt weapon (eg mace) on blobs. Wait till they jump, be roughly where they land, smash them hard. For extra security, take a poison resist potion first.

I have trouble with the sound in Valheim. When i play other games through steam it works just fine but Valheim is Quiet.

No worries— we all have to sleep some time! I ended up finding a Queen spawn site on an entirely different island (about 3 away). It ALSO was not in the correct spot, but I found it nonetheless. We defeat her tomorrow and then storm the beaches of the Ashlands.

Thundering, with few exceptions. 90% of the time the lightning proc would just kill the thing that the root proc would immobilize, why root a thing when you can just kill it? Primal can be useful for some specific bosses.
Same logic for the bow, the proc does a stupid amount of damage. If you get bows to 70-75 you can kill a Valkyrie before it even gets close enough to get an attack off.

9% speed boost doesn't seem like much, but if your run skill is over 50 it's enough to outrun most mobs in the game. Pop a ratatosk and nothing can catch you. Low armor doesn't matter when you're so fast nothing can hit you, and if you use the right food you can still take a few hits

but then you'll be quite squishy and asthmatic

those two use different spawning mechanics, abominations have no fixed spawn locations, every full swamp chunk has a 35% chance to try and spawn an abomination somewhere around you (no closer to your current location than 30 meters) upon being entered with a cooldown of 66 minutes and 44 seconds
(chunks are 64x64 meter areas, and an in-game day is precisely 30 minutes long, so a good way to farm abominations is to carefully comb a swamp, then leave it be for about 2 days before repeating)

If you insist on wooden enclosure I suggest building a large one so you can run in and there is enough space for bear to roam around and then just run out and close the door, make sure door is at such level that bear can just walk in

Fire arrows are effective for long time. Also it's waste to use metals for arrows IMHO. You'll get non metal materials in 4th and 5th biomes which allow you to craft stronger arrows.

But to answer the question: fire arrows are more effective against bears, but being more pierce than fire damage it still take longer.

Tbh I've never really raised chickens, but from the farms I've seen here and there I'm assuming the logic is having a few hens together, dropping them a bunch of food, and some sort of setup to make the eggs fall or roll far enough away from the hens that it doesn't count towards the hen/egg cap for the area so they'll keep laying eggs

They should spawn in with blank maps. They won't see anything you or others have discovered

Each dungeons/traders/ruins/boss altars/other POIs have pre-determined locations (by procedural generation of each world seeds) that get "locked" in that location once they get generated while you explore the map.

Catching fish isn't all that hard, assuming you have the rod, eat 3 stamina foods or find a decently flat area to drag them out of the water by walking backwards, just good make sure the line doesn't get snagged and break

but there is a lot of things you should be aware of about this and this will be too hard for you if you ask me taming a 2 star wolf is no joke even in plains tier level

Theres not an easy way to find them, but you can make the capturing process easier by making a hole and putting wood floors and making a platform you can jump on as it chases you to the trap so you can just destroy the floors
