Unless you turn on player based raids there will be completely new progression on the new world

the whole map is a sheet, and you can either dig down 8m or add terrain height up to 8m from that base level, which means you can make a cellar, as long as you have enough altitude (which is frankly not that hard to get even in the meadows)

potentially, if you really had the dedication for it, you could lower an entire island by 8m by digging the whole thing (excluding the areas near water level, of course) and you'll see you can't dig any further than that

Nope. Leviathan are gone once they sink. Good news is that there are more of them out there.

And you don't use a lot of chitin unless you're making the knife.

So you can 'cheese' them by logging off before they sink, which will reset them. There are rare cases when you get everything mined before they go down; it's just RNG. There's a chance of them diving with every barnacle you break.

Having a better pickaxe will allow you to break more before they go down.

I don't like using the logoff method because sometimes they don't sink at all then and you have to sail around them all the time.

and you can't build on them either.

i think this is saying literally the opposite--whether or not you can parry a blow is a function of HP and also armor--the more of both you have, the higher the threshold for when a hypothetical attack that would cause above a certain threshold of damage (dictated by the function of the HP & armor) would "break" your parry

because that one hit fills the whole stagger bar, which 'breaks' through block (and I think, absent a shield bubble, means you can't parry it--if you try, instead you stagger and take the full hit)

It's a function of block armor, not armor. Armor is a damage reduction that happens after blocking is calculated.

If it's been few hours and you still get this error, and you are no using mods, you'll probably have to open up a ticked for them to properly end previous connection.

You can attempt to shutdown the server, disable crossplay and start the server again.

Use object clipping to guide you, place the right chest against the corner, then the chest to the left look to the lower "leg" and align it with the right chests leg(depth wise & distance wise). Then repeat steps upward.

Last time I played was with my friend about a year ago. And we admittedly got super discouraged because we crossed an ocean via a 5 minute drive in our boat in our gear. Fought off a serpent that ran before we could kill it which beat our boat up bad. And then unknowingly took refuge in the swamp as it was the only land we found. We lost everything within 3 minutes of landing and my friend sadly gave up

I found utilizing the Crystal Axe and Silver Arrows were cheap & useful options to keep myself safe. The secondary lunge attack with the battle axe knocks enemies very far back, and the Silver Arrows have a high stagger chance+weakness bonus to most enemies in Ashlands.

Rn i need to kill elder so i need a port, ship, minibase near the boss, and 4 teleports! Considering that i kill every boss twice it may be logical, regarding the swamp i know that i will need a lot of anti venom potions howver i have 12 bees ready to support me 🙂

if you dont mind cheese they are easy to cheese in two ways but I wouldnt recommend one of them, its too cheesy

I dont know how repeatable it is but the in place I most commonly encountered them recently, I could shoot fire arrows at it and run away and it kept going back to wondering around instead of coming after me

minmaxers, big brainers and lazy people who can alot item types into the bar depending on what their character has discovered.
Anything they pick up or spam stack will automatically fill/avoid filling the slots according to what they set up.
I can't imagine too many variations besides one having some mining tools and other just being 9 spears
But it's mostly a UI thing so I can't see it as something bad. Regular players could even remove the option if they don't like it,

That means you have a cooldown until you can drink stamina mead again 🙂 it gives you a quick surge of stamina and then you have to wait 2 minutes before you can drink it again.

Since world and character saves are separate, so if you roll the world back your inventory stays the same but the world goes back in time before you died so there is no longer a tombstone there.
Tell your fried to try and go through the character saves, not world saves, and look if there is some save from the time he still had dyrnwyn.

If that doesent work then the only other option is spawn it in using commands really.

To tame you trap an animal and drop it food to eat. If it isn't aggroed by you or someone else, it will eat the food and start taming, indicated by a percentage. Once it's at 100% its health bar will go green and you will be able to interact with it.

I centered around melee myself. And when I got to Queen.. I did have to start dabbling in hybrid style with 1 Hp food, 1 stam food, and 1 eitr food. The shield bubbles nice. The frost staff is good for slowing the spam mobs. And fireballs are just great for AOE damage and also keeping the queen lit up so you can see where she is more easily

If you do 1 eitr food I recommend seeker aspice as it does more eitr and is relatively cheap to make usually i have excess of seeker meat and royal jelly

Dying against the Queen isn’t uncommon so I recommend a bed outside her chamber, with fire, some furniture for comfort, and a chest full of food. So if you die you spawn just outside.. eat, rest, and get right back in there. Her hp regen is fast when not in combat and you don’t want her regaining her health

I experimented with a few different food combos and having 0 stamina food often doesn’t bode well. Definitely try it since there’s a million different ways to play the game. But I’d suggest also trying 1hp, 1eitr, 1stam. The hp and eitr should be the best the biome has to offer, and then salad is fine for stam if you don’t have the fish n bread no big deal. Compare and contrast, see how it feels

Alternatively you could try 2 of the best feasts available, so I think that’d be Plains Pie and Mountain stew.. and then 1 eitr food (seeker aspice) that results in very good health/stam/eitr

Depends, mace kills one enemy quickly as they're weak against blunt but another one resists it, so I'd say mace and any slash weapon (sword, axe or bear claws) are 2 best options. But any else weapon can work too.

level 3 abyssal razor will just melt everything in the swamp even things that resist it while using very little stamina and not slowing you down

Hi all. I'm stuck on Yag on Hard, solo. I've beat the game since Ashlands on normal, I beat it with a group of 4 friends on Very Hard. Trying my luck at solo Hard and Yag has had me dead stopped for 12 days in game.

I've tried digging a pit and using frost arrows, I've tried circle kiting with silver sword, I've tried taming wolves. Everything I try, I can get him to about 3/4 hp and then the arena becomes a sh*tshow and I get clipped by one of his attacks. The blue fire kills me from 160hp in four ticks.

Any non cheat, but clever ways that I'm missing?

I just tried a frost blob, and it did dmg him, but I only had 1. Thinking of farming up 20 of those, but that is a lot of trophies...
