But, after killing the Wraith, I now have a chain...which unlocked an upgrade to my forge, which I kinda want to get now...

I actually found a way better swamp than the thin piece I found the other day. Also, I thought I saw the glowing green (Not on a tree) but got turned around in a fight and now have to go back and look for it.

This may be an awkward question, I saw a video where someone typed "printseed" or some such into the chat window and it gave a distance to the nearest "dungeon". Is that really a thing?

yeah. inventory is the number 1 thing players complain about in this game, as there is no alloted space for equipment, weapons etc., and it can get hard to manage sometimes, especially later in the game. but it's not too huge an issue, and some use mods to help with it.

surtling fire is natural to swamps you dont need to make it
for bonfire however you need surtling cores which you can get from surtlings as well

block and dodge level very slowly compared to other skills, don't be worried about their numbers being lower than weapons and movement

dodge 0 is equivalent to what dodging's cost was before the skill was added so all biomes are balanced around that

Well....you're taking about hemoylmph, which is the "blood" in arachnids and some arthopods. In arachnids specifically they don't have extensor muscles but use the hydraulic pressure system you mentioned to move their legs forward. Which is why tarantulas look kinda funky when they walk. But it's false to say all bugs/insects use this system as it's actually primarily an arachnid thing with some anthropods. There are plenty of insects, such as grasshoppers, that do actually have powerful muscles in their exoskeleton. Source being insects and arachnids are my biggest hobby have been for years and I do a lot of research

@mild sedge The fins are really, really good. They fill up super fast with any enemy, and with either a potion or the first boss power (just one is enough), you can swim without using any stamina. Also, activating the boss power gives you adrenaline so you can trigger it instantly. It’s great for traveling from one island to another if it’s not too far, and it’s faster than breaking or using a boat and having to rely on the wind. It also helps you move through water to uncover the map and fully reveal it. The distance you can swim with the fins, a potion, and the first boss power (even if the effect only triggers once) is surprisingly large

Just had Fader's attacks outright destroy my Ashlands base yesterday (base is literally 5 colosseum distances away with a shield too), I feel that pain lol.

Mistlands, isn't that bad. Just spend your time finding a spot that is fog free and accessible to things like fish and skeletons

I would avoid tower shields (when you unlock them) unless you plan on just solidly blocking enemy attacks instead of parrying and learn enemy attack timings early. also just focus on having fun, don't let anyone tell you how to play
