How do you deal with constant Surtlings for that?
Also, some Surtlings spawned inside an invincible tree somehow, and can shoot me from there
well thats a bonfire, surtling geyser is better of course
Wouldnβt it destroy a Bonfire?
if it attacks, you have have to keep it on the other side
3 more Abominations and I should have the full set as high quality as I am currently able
can't build anything on ships.
Does a shield generator even do anything in single player?
I think you're confusing the shield generator with the ward.
even so, properly placed wards can help you locate the source of threats to your base, at least the vicinity.
What do you mean?
Yes, it does.
If prevents the player to access an item in the Mistlands.
I think he means player placed wards.
yeah i was thinkin the shield generator might have been different
im still preparing for the journey to the ashlands
a ward won't block damage, but it glows in a sphere when player structures within it's range are hit. If you have a large base, you can see from the glow where damage is coming from.
Huh, neat!
it's to protect your base in ashlands, primarily from the fire rain, but it blocks all projectiles.
fire rain?
have you been to Ashlands yet? the fire rain can set wooden items on fire. The shield generator blocks that.
One of the Ashland's elemental effects. You'll see when you get there.
no i havent this is news to me
ok so is it just better to make a stone base in the ashlands?
How do you know about the shield generator then?
its craftable?
i check everything i can craft with new items
only once you have ashlands materials.
no?
Why not build your Ashlands base from stone?
oh no, it's mistlands tier crafting.
yeah its mistlands tier
You can craft it the moment you have defeated the Queen
Yeah. @solemn hawk you'll see what it's for when you get there.
That's good, but even putting down a workbench and portal can reduce them to charcoal without the shield.
then you don't even have the finewood to make another π
Not if you pick the right location to enter the Ashlands and set up your first base.
yeah. I usually aim my boat for the ruined structures.
So do I. And when there's "neutrals" near or in it, even better.
β¦Inside the stone structure?
no, but you need to put down a bench in order to build with stone.
Ah
Well, the problem is that not everything got a roof anymore.
I dunno if you've read the last message Hugin gave you after defeating the Queen?
The tortured screams of Surtlings spawning in the waterβ¦
me and my friend have never gone south this trip is going to take a WHILE
"Best" solution is to get as close to the Ashlands as possible using a Karve or Longboat, then set up a small base with at least a workbench and a portal and craft the last boat there.
It will save you at least half the time sailing.
does your armor reduce posion damage?
oh is the drakkar not faster?
almost all the boat upgrades have been faster so i assumed the drakkar would also be
It's almost as fast as a longboat. But it's also a lot more sluggish.
Turns like a bathtub.
Root Mask does, otherwise I believe not?
I dunno. I've never sailed a bathtub.
Then you've never lived!
Yeah well, I'm not Dirk Pitt. π
yea thats what i thought. getting some iron with plains gear and it just feels like the blobs posion is doing nothing but can remeber it hurtingn alot whenn i first entered
the ocean is so scary
Well better food gives you more health and more health regen per ticks so not only will the poison take out a smaller percentage of your health, you will heal more of it while it ticks down
i didnt realize how EMPTY and vast the ocean is in valheim
If you are sailing to the ashlands make sure you stop before entering, leave a portal on an island close by, get rested and enter during the day
Some would argue it is quite dangerous, yes
Day or night its still dangerous
It's ... active
Dangerous both at day and night
Thats all you need to know
Because enemies there are quite persistant
the waters red?
yes
are there any skills i can level up while boatinng home?
Armor rate also reduces the damage taken from poison (and others like fire).
Oh? Neat!
ok it wasnt so bad until we encountered a morgen
also it became night and a 2* like basic enemy appeared
ashwood doesnt burn in the ashlands right
like i can build a base with that or no
It does. But for preventing your buildings from burning there is shield generator.
im guessing grausten doesnt burn since its stone
WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO AGAINST A MORGEN
I WENT BACK IN THE PORTAL AND THERE WERE 80 ENEMIES WAITING FOR ME
WHATS THE STRATEGY π
It doesnt burn but the fire rain still damages them
to hold caps lock more π
especially if its a fire spark
i think me and my friend both died and our portal broke
my friend hasnt died yet ubt it might be over
to get our stuff back alone already is a herculean task
the morgen made things 10x harder than it should have been
learn from the mistakes π
the mistake was getting unlucky with a random morgen spawn
im not there yet... we are in mislands
Whats this slowmode thing
to keep people from spamming messages too fast in discord. several servers do it.
If you need help ask some folks in #valheim-help
he survived and built the portal
we are done for the day
we couldnt find any flammetal
Your goal in ashlands is to raid the "dungeons" in there
my dedicated server lags bad with 10 people what do
Are you all building close to each other?
we just got one big base
issue is mainly with the boats kinda being janky when we all ride in it
Yo.. Newver used Fins of Destiny, they are OP and the best accessory
Wish they were a cloak or something not tied to adrenaline, i have that uncanny knack to always need moder on cd because the wind hates me
Scraping your toe on a stone underwater as you first get in to swim across a river?
They called "Fins" tho, so imma pretend you cant scrape your toe, as your foot is covered XD
Eikthyr with Fins gave me 2 mins to swim any direction I wanted... No stam loss, so good
But then fins ran out, I was ballsdeep in middle of ocean, and yeah.... we all know how that ends π
wat's your favorite weapon?
2ndary with fists, nothing quite like punting midgets (fulings) or a pesky mosquito outta the sky. If the deep north doesn't have another fist weapon and dagger I'll cry
Just killed myself with the Trollstav π π π I summoned the troll right in front of myself so the damage from the troll falling on top of me just killed me
I never summon it so close to me. I decided to try it, and just died. Beginners mistake xD
They should add a World Modifier for Leveling Speed
Meanwhile i just tried Dundr. I genuinely thought it would be a Staff xD
I guess it isn't. This is cool actually.
"What happens next may shock you." xD they got me... well played.
Have you learned about the treebalest?
Itβs when you fire a fallen tree at mobs using dundr π€£
gotta try that ππ³
What does the β»οΈ mean in the Suggestions channel?
That it has been suggested before in some form.
Ah! Okay, thatβs an understandable tally to keep
Taking notes
I think gungr or dungr whatever you call the shotgun staff is my most unused magic staff
The staff of fracturing I've used a fair bit
Dundr has better single target damage when all shards hit, but it performs bit poorly against groups, although knockback can keep enemies away.
Same with Staff of Fracturing: better single target damage than Ember Staff but poorer AoE control and damage against groups.
When is this game coming to Ps5?
I am currently using every single staff in the game π a fourth of my inventory are staves...
In due time, during this year.
they are all good for specific situations, so I keep them all. I know i could do the same with like, 3 or 4. but i wanna try them all for now. they are all fun.
Alr
i think i haven't used the staff of fracturing that much tho.
But it's cool. and it looks like fireworks if i shoot it into the sky
When I play mage I like the combination of Staff of Wild and Frost Staff: first summon roots then shoot enemies with frost to slow them so they don't get away from the roots.
That staff has great single target burst damage when all clusters hit the same target. You can ramp the fire tick damage very high with it.
I usually use Frost for enemies that kinda get in our face. and for bigger tanky enemies.
Embers for squishy/ranged ones. Troll and Wild for Charred Fortresses. Protection all the time. And skeletons when I need to buy time or get some protection while I do something. Then Dundr and Fracturing i used them because they are cool.
I'll try to experiment more with it π€ The ashlands staves are still kinda new to me
Ofc fire damage isn't the best in Ashlands since all mobs are at least resistant against fire, but still can deal some damage, I could imagine fire damage being better in Deep North.
I know that using all of them isn't very efficient, in terms of inventory, but I kinda want to try them all for now.
But Ember staff carries long since it also deals blunt damage.
Nothing wrong testing out and figuring what you like the most.
Btw, is it worth it to upgrade the staff of Protection above level two?
I feel like two mins barrier is good enough so far. and upgrading doesn't give me a stronger barrier anyway, since that depends on the skill.
i might take it to level 3, but dunno about level 4. in battle it usually breaks from attacks anyway.
the eitr for upgrades gets a bit expensive
haii :3
This game rocks its so evil
really cant help but endlessly admire its graphics despite playing on performance (tho it seems to not differ from balanced whatsoever)
Btw, Staff of Embers + wood in the Ashlands = easy coal πππ₯
4 minute duration is quite nice, for general exploring also so you don't need to constantly cast the bubble.
Staves that are not necessary to upgrade are Staff of the Wild and Trollstav.
Thanks! ^^
Using it now after a while it kinda has a shotgun shape
LoL π
are the parry windows enough for parrying with a buckler and switching to the Dundr?
I have seen people parry with the staff and bubble so they dont get staggered
I would rely on parrying while having bubble. Switching from buckler to Dundr is clunky and it also requires reloading.
soooo, how to bring crates or something on a boat?
reloading? a magic shotgun damn
I have seen someone one shot the morgens with dundr parry combo
If you equip something else and re-equip Dundr again it loads it again.
Think it like how crossbows work.
You really gotta commit to either reloading or switching weapons entirely
Dundr eats up alot of eitr
bonus points if it's on fire
I have never seen so many gjalls as I do on our current random seed. During one fire resist potion duration, I killed 4
I have roof ballistas specifically armed with black metal bolts for them too because they spawn so often
Does anybody know when valheim 1.0 is gonna be released?
Technically the devs have an idea, so yes βanybodyβ does. But that information has not been released to the public yet.
I know but almost no one else π€
_one might say. it's my job to know these things π _
pretty please
i tried this at home, he dropped his tail :(
The entire valheim community
They strike me as perfectionists and if you know, you know. You may think you are pretty much done but not be entirely satisfied with some things and decide to change them delaying everything. Even they might not know
when deep north
Everytime the neck hits the button, DN gets delayed a day
why would the neck do that
It knows that neck tails are a key ingredient in all Deep North food recipes π¬
Every time the neck hits the button (someone asks that question) we take a drink π
I am sure we will be just fiiiine
what magic weapon should i be using for early ashlands
cuz like the fire staff doesnt seem to optimal seeing how almost everything is resistant to fire
It is quite good still since it deals also substantial blunt dmg on top of the fire dmg π
both fire and ice staff are very good
Shield staff is busted no matter where you are
i just gotta get a good side weapon to use while recovering eitr
Perhaps one that also double as a tool
Demolisher, give yourself a little breathing room, and it's still kind of like a staff... with a big block on the end
yeah i was initially thinking of using the arbalest since i could still try to keep range but like nothing in the ashlands stops in their endless pursuit of my demise
yeah ill use the demolisher or somethin
prolly a shield too aswell
or is the demolisher 2 handed
2 handed
kk
bruh why are mobs still spawning inside my base even with the TINIEST little gap between workbenches
it looks so rediculous now with workbenches and fires everywhere
my spawn was on a peninsula so i cut it off
Just a little rant:
I chopped down 7 oak trees so far and no seed in sight
That is definitely odd.
When is ps5 gonna drop im on pc but wanna play with some other friends
this year
damn, just started a new valheim alpha 0.79 world... get dropped next to swamp and black forest... greydwarf and draugr after me after 30s π
no sugar coating back then
π
i dropped 3 screenies under #screenshots
That inventory tho.

what could this mean
#screenshots message
Test
Armor : 75% / max 5 dmg
Looks like max damage it can block and how much % of the damage you block before it hurts you.
Oh, saw the "Test" part you mentioned.
good question... wasnt enough vs a bronze axe draugr π no matter what i meant
also the axe chop damage is shown there but still hidden in modern versions
Yea I know but what month
That hasn't been stated yet.
can solve that, Test is the characters name π
I've looked into it more, it blocks a percentage of damage or the max damage shown, whatever is smaller
I'm not sure why it would've been replaced. maybe the devs wanted one number so its easier to understand?
nice finding π
Hey what is this new Game Server thing from Discord?
Does it work for a game like Valheim?
what type of weapon should i use
any type, depends. bow should be a must
maces are pretty good
What have you tested so far?
Having 3 physical damage types (blunt, slash, pierce) covered is good idea.
All weapons have their own perks and limitations.
My razor has no limitations
is there any known time frame for the ps5 release date?
i dont think so
Supposed to be sometime this year as far as we know. I know thatβs kind of a wide range, but thatβs what we got!
Day 96 in game and i found the Queen's Lair, but i won't be able to open it and beat her since I don't have the Sealbreaker yet, boo
i was trying to do it before Day 100
before day 100 ?!
yeah almost made it
we're almost day 500 and we haven't even tried to beat her x)
we do NOT have the same playstyle x)
everyone does things at different paces, nothing wrong with that, my goal is always to at least have Yagluth down before Day 100
My fastest was my playthrough after they introduced the bog witch, I wanted to do a quick one to test the new skills, food and potions. It was fast because I just built a mining outpost in the forest, geared up, made a carve, sailed to swamp to build a mining outpost and gear up. Left it with a longship full of iron on my way to main base in the plain. I killed Yagluth before day 50 and fader on day 74. It's impressive the time you save if you just build once and also the time it save if you build far on the map
nevermind it's day 404 here
Day not found
)=
found a sealed tower!
Beat Fader today! Ready for Deep North!
On almost day 1400 so yeah, definitely not a speedrun.
That is exactly what I did, I built one base for most of the game then built a second one but didn't build a stone base yet. I am going to take the time to do so since I might as well
I'm a fan of a much slower pace.
Slow is good.
β¦if I ever do beat the current final boss, itβs not gonna be fast, XD
trying to fish in the ocean is terrible
your boat always moves away from where the fish are
I realise I've been woefully neglecting making a new, larger house.
I've made it to the Plains in my current run, but I'm still living in my starter house, despite having a large storage hall, buildings dedicated to mead kegs, etc.
is the staff of fracturing better or worse than the staff of embers
It doesn't have to be a single large "house". I use a draugr village as my base this play through.
It has different purpose. Where Ember staff shines in AoE and damage against groups Fracturing staff shines in high ramping single target damage with all clusters hitting the same target.
Fracturing staff is also super cheap.
There is a neat trick where you can jump out of the boat while it is moving and it will immediately stop
Yeah, its not easy to bring any of the boats to a complete stop. So jumping off then getting back on is the simplest way to do it.
anyone wanna lend me some backup on taking on moder i just needa find 2 eggs and the moder location
i cannot find any flammetal bro
Any news or updates for PS5 version yet
do basalt bombs go away after a whiule or jno
In Ashlands Iβd personally say embers is better, but I imagine fracturing is gonna be very nice in Deep North
Whatβs the timeline for the Deep North release
Currently no estimated timeline.
When they are finished with it.
Thanks for the info. Iβm so excited for it!!
9 players on screen and my rtx5080 is 5.1 fps π
just like real fishing!
ever hear of an anchor?
they wouldn't serve their purpose in this game since boats already constantly brake their speed while no player is on board
-# couldn't say no to that mechanic being replaced with an anchor though, i do like anchors
...actually no, staying put while out on the water is their main purpose, what am i saying
so sure, anchors~ β
does anyone know why my screen is shaking in a meadows biome
prolly a bug
Since the CtA update. Welcome back! Now there's bears.
if i run for it will i make it
Maybe
To add new sets of light armor and to make the biomes tougher to get through? Thats my best guess.
anyone down to vc bored
They certainly didn't add them to meaningfully increase our food options. At least, not yet.
what are my chances against the bear with a bow
Poor. They are pierce resistant.
dang
Best to use a slash weapon, plus shield.
i dont think im ready to kill a bear just yet
FYI, they have more HP than trolls too.
Fortunately, you have to get pretty close to them to aggro them, plus they are rather easy to out run.
good to know
when i go fishing offshore i only have 100m of rhode and we are over 200m deep
Get more rope..
were gonna need a bigger boat
do i NEED a battering ram in order to enter the fortresses?
or can i just like jump in from above
Just jump off the ship
I feel like it's a trick that is not widely known, if you want to instantly and completely stop/anchor your boat. Whether it is to go pick up serpent meat, to stop at a dock or to stop to fish, just jump off the ship and it will stop
Nah, you can just build a simple ladder. Ram is cooler and might be fun to use, but itβs certainly more complex.
Anyone have a public server I can fiddle around and build in ?
To be fair the game is loading 9 seperate different instances in 1 server
we even have a dedicated server, that was barely under load but all of our pc were dying during yagluth fight
Im going to scream, I got raided by ghosts and now all my boars are dead
I love Surtling Raids.
Easy parries.
Easy kills.
Easy coal.
Easy Surtling Cores.
I love free resource progression.
Hi, I'm shy and don't want to be a pest in voice. Is there a shared server in that you all are playing I can come build in?
Hi I just joined the discord, are there any fresh servers atm?
The "Fire Hazard" modifier would like to have a word with you
I just don't play with Fire Hazard
@grizzled fox I can start a fresh server that you can join
Oh ty, I was interested in putting simple cabins in a server with others
I like valheim socially but I get anxiety in voice
You dont have to get in voice
Im starting one just a sec
What's the difference between a server and community server
@grizzled fox join code is 371673 passwords Swords
Only thing I hate about fire hazard is the burnt ground it leaves
WE JUST GOT TO MISTLANDS WHAT IS A SEEKER SOLDIER
why are moutain biomes so small and hard to come across
Just bad generation lol
You'll encounter something much more worst later on
could cheat and check your seed map
Also your first time getting to mistlands? @timber marsh
Dont attack the dvergr
they helped
Yes
Hows the mist lol
were gonna need a lot of bread...
Its recommended to have some of the people in your group to use eikthyr ability when exploring the mistlands
helps out alot
ive been using eikthyr since the beginning lol
Anyone wanna play valheim
do i go in the dverger home?
did he come from the land down under?
Any good news about north update? βοΈπ
It'll be out when it's ready? Do you consider that good news?
Will the deep north update mess the predicted world generation of previous seeds?
The deep north is already on every map, its just Barren, so as long as you don't venture to the Deep north Biome before the update, it will be generated fine when the update is out
Any date on the PS5 release yet?
No exact date, but this year surely.
Anyone else find leviathans uncanny?
Depends on what you mean with mess up
I have found one in the sea near the border of the map. Almost "falling off". Lonely leviathan... π’
There is something scary to me that we mine on the back on a giant beast that doesnt even notice us until we tickle it
And the groan it makes, spooky
I guess they can be a little uncanny... when you put it that way.
Maybe just thalassophobia
Who say that the islands on valheim arent just even bigger leviathans
Fear of Subnautica
(Not in my case though. Barely played it)
the valheim map is a Leviathan ππ’
Are you a leviathan!?
Just found a crypt that has three dead ends and thats it
RNG at its best
Will a world generated after the update with a specific seed, look different than one generated with that seed before the update? Other than the deep north itself, obviously
yes
if you would re-use the same seed before DN and after DN. it will generate diffrently
ty
Hey guys, is there any advice for digging a Canal? I'm about to start that and was wondering if there is something I should be aware of, before I waste lots of hours^^
You can only modify the ground by 8 up and 8m down, so if you have a hill in a way you dont really have to try
Ok, what about the water? Should I keep the ends that are conected to the water close till I'm finished?
Like, does it flood itself then?
No need, the water is basically a plane that is present throughout the whole world π
Ok, so I'll have to dig in the water eventually
Yep π
Sorry to anyone who had to see that. those 2 where people who constantly where harassing staff over a few months and now both got cought red handed saying bad things....
does anyone play with increased resource drop or any other settings to reduce grind?
In co-op world I like 1,5x loot multiplier.
Otherwise normal rate is enough for me solo.
that's a bit counterintuitive
Hi from Ukraine
i thought solo you gather resources at lower rate
How? Bit more loot when more players are playing reduces the grind for crafting more equipment vs what it would be with 1x multiplier.
You need to craft less equipment though
I play coop with 6 people and we have 1.5x because it's hard to get everyone to play at the same time, so we reduce the grind time during that time
RAAAAAAAA
I just fought off a Fuling Raid with nothing but my Black Metal Battle Axe and spite.

Yeah after mistlands I said yolo and just threw the multiplier up to max..my obliterator gets quite a bit of use now
im thinking to up the multipliers to max in the bronze age
as im reaching it for the second time and lose interest of playing the game
Yeah, for me the late game became quite exhausting with all the Viking chores I had to keep up with, so that just saved me quite a bit of time
So what is the "new" Biome? The last time I played it stopped at Plains.
There's 2 biomes past Plains now; Mistlands and Ashlands
Are those the Biomes at the top and bottom of the map?
Mistlands can be found past the "goldilocks" zone on the map; the biome is a certain distance away from spawn and can't be any closer.
Ashlands is alllllll the way south.
The next big update to come is the Deep North, which is in game now but pretty barren, in which the update will spruce up the biome.
Deep North is allllllll the way north.
||ok, what order are they in? If I remember correctly, it was like. Meadows -> Black Forest -> Swamp -> Mountain -> Plains||
that's correct, and mistlands is between plains and ashlands now
||Meadows > Black Forest > Swamp > Mountain > Plains > Mistlands > Ashlands||
Ok, are they difficult? ^^
Very.
More than Plains?
Yes.
each biome is more difficult than the last at that point
π³
Yh, I'm about to fight 2nd Boss, and got reminded to not f.. with the mosquitos xd
Mistlands has some extremely cool and extremely strong gear that I won't spoil the nature of for you.
So definitely have fun with all of it when you get there.
Mosquitoes is where I truly learn to block.
yh, I played some years ago and finished the plains biome, since then there were some many updates
Or die.
Simply just Pokeβ’ with Battle Axe
Hit 'em with the boop of despair

Just snipe them with arrows π
It only works if you yell boop very loudly
Arrows works too.
Just don't miss!
I did find them trivial once I got the rhythm of blocking down.
Granted I haven't played since the combat update.
Ah yeah, extremely strong gear like the new ||battleaxe||.

combat update?
Call to Arms update last September.
Like new movement/attacks or just weapons?
If the new biome gets released, will old save files still work?
||New fist weapons (Black Forest tier and Plains tier)
New battle axes (Plains tier and Mistlands tier)
New Black Forest tier armour
New Plains tier armour
Trinkets, which give you combat buffs after building adrenaline (gained when using Forsaken Power, attacking enemies, staggering enemies, blocking, dodging, parrying, etc.)
Easier to hit enemies on slopes (finally)
New enemies (Bear and Vile (Undead Bear))
etc. etc.||
There's a lot to just type it all out, so definitely read the patch notes I linked
If it's like previous releases yeah it will wokr.
They just won't show up on an old map.
eh? the biome? it'll show up just fine, unless you've generated every single deep north chunk before the update, then none of it will update correctly
I'm avoiding the Deep North like the plague on my long term world
Ok, so if I just don't explore too much now it's fine π
yepp~
You can explore everywhere but the Deep North tbh
True. Usually by the time a new biome came out my old crew and I Usually explored things thoroughly.
some guy named Valder suddenly joined our dedicated server and the files went crazy, password was easy af but it's pretty sussy ποΈποΈ
ban / kick them then?
is there any difference in intensity of rested? i know u can get it longer...
nope, rested is always just rested, the duration is all that varies
it will always be the same. just diffrent duration
tyvm
how long till this gameis actually considered a full game? Hate to start a game thats still waaaaay in developement and by the time i finish it they changed 100 things about it
?
hes trolling
bad troll i guess cause i dont understand it
he is saying we aren't updating the game anymore
but we are activly working on it
Kinda the opposite of abandonware. It's never ending updates lol.
oh i see ure actually a dev for the game :D
so u would say your game is still in the early phases? cause im more of a player that would gladly buy a Product when its deemed finished by its creators
game is early access yes
but we are working on the last content update atm
you can read in #news
Zeroing in on a 1.0 yeah. Pretty excited for it.
That being said I've put like 500 hours into it and it was time well spent.
I'm officially waiting for 1.0 now tho. Looking forward to the Ultimate World where we plan to play in it for a year+
buy it now, and then wait for 1.0 I would advise
we might raise the price on the game at 1.0
cause of the price increas on full release?
maybe
i see, thx for the feedback :P
your have a wonderful day, and thx for developing great games
you're welcome π
Hey folks!
Hello!
been thinking of playing again but Im also hesitant as I dont want to start now if full release is in like a month or two!
Can we say confidently that full release PROBABLY isnt this spring or early summer? π
It was supposed to come girat half of the year so... Probably not
I mean if it was in a month or two they'd surely have announced it.
suppose ?
not sure where you got that information from
we have never ever said any release dates π€
Its about time you did! WHEN ETA?!
Smiffeeeee!
π
This time, I will try and beat queen
I rage quit last time when I reached queen
Queen is easy now that half of combat doesn't cost stamina anymore for unknowable reasons...
Good
I HATED her. I hate add heavy boss fights in general. I want the boss to be the highlight not a bunch of adds. Just a personal preference
Bosses being easy is "good"?
The queen yes
Hardest of disagrees.
What wont a eitr refinery destroy? other than marble. the good copper.
No.
Black Marble.
Bro got obliterated into pieces
anyone who continously lie about release dates will be muted and then banned
we do not accept trolling
right but like all crafting stations?
No hard feelings. I just have a thing for add boss fights. I find them incredibly frustrating by design
That is kind of the point of add boss fights.
is it a good idea to use a completed fortress as an ashlands base
Of course, I just dont like them
or do enemies still just spawn there
Again, just a personal preference
Good is a point of view, Anakin.
im js makin sure no enemies respawn there
@gray sand Did ALL bosses become a lot easier?
Her adds are boring, I will give you that.
Elder honestly could have been a good adds boss because of how many types of Greydwarf there are.
Yeah...
Elder would be fine with adds, he isnt super fast and his attacks are straight forward. Queen with adds seems cheap
rootlings, root brutes and root shamans
Weapon choice has a lot to do with it.
by adds do you mean like summoned enemies i aint know this phrase
I was VERY well prepared last I did it. I got overwhelmed all the same. Im a pretty decent gamer overall too
Having the variety and needing to nuke shamans before they heal.
adds=additional mobs
Define well prepared?
ok ty i js didnt know
back to my question, i asked it weird i think/ in 2 parts. are there any craftign stations a eitr refinery wont destroy?
I cant give you specifics. Its a while back and I just deleted my old character to start over π But I had best in slot armour, and best in slot melee weapon based on feedback from discord and potions and best in slot food. I even looked up strategies, and got some bombs or something too for the adds
i dont think so, i started just crafting my refineries somewhat far away from base and just having a portal past a hill
Only 1 weapon?
You didn't have boss weapon and adds weapon that specialized in aoe to make adds easier?
I honestly dont remember
π
i crafted all marble/dvergr copper. but i wanna know if i need to separate it from like the black forge and stuff. i have stonecutter and workshop in there atm
Also I have doubts about Discord feedback sometimes because wayyyyy too many people here think Tasty Mead is bad.
Tasty mead is situationally amazing.
But it's not an 'all the time' treat fo rme lol.
If situationally = all situations, I agree.
I respect the Tasty Mead commitment you have.
well I acknowledge that I probably prepared wrong somehow or went about the fight in the wrong way. I would probably have been able to beat her had I just given it a few more tries and adjusted some things. But my pet peeve with add heavy boss fights just made me pissed off and I stopped caring for trying lol
But this time Im going into it with a different mind set
That's fair.
The other option is just magic because it is OP AF and never getting nerfed.
frfr i love magic
Magic in valheim feels VERY good. Im glad its strong because you are quite squishy when using robes. So its a glass cannon thing
would suck if it wasnt strong and you were also made of wet paper
blood orb negates the lack of health
Oh? Im not familiar with that
its just a free shield with 200+hp depending on what level ur blood magic is
staff of protection mb
i call it blood orb just cuz its blood magic
Have they addressed their design philosophy with that skill?
Single enemy? Staff of Fireball.
Multiple enemies? Staff of Fireball.
Woodcutting? Staff of Fireball.
Ever thought about using a sword like a real viking? Staff of Fireball.
Yeah... magic is totally balanced...
i like staff of fracturing for single enemies
Ehh. I mean... vikings believed in seidr magic
Yes but the point is once you hit magic you either use it or choose to be less powerful.
Hm I havent used it that much to the point where I felt it wasnt balanced. But it sounds like blood magic might be the issue?
I genuinely used Fireball until Wilds.
No other staves.
Nothing ever came close to touching me in the Ashlands.
-# for a moment i forgot there's a "staff of the wild" and was very confused
ππ
Less powerful? There's very few things you can take out faster with mage than you can with melee
-# I have a back scratcher for my girl that I have dubbed "Staff of Cats".
Take a seeker soldier, with melee i'll take it out using half my stamina bar in about 10 seconds whist having ate only health food. A mage with 3 eitr food will take out about 40 seconds to kill it and have to wait for eitr to refill twice
Iron cage pieces also.
do i need to totally isolate it from everything?
it shoots in all directions randomly so pretty much yea
I haven't gone anywhere.
ok so itll kill black forge n stuff too?
make sure that the walls aren't too close to the back and front of it, i've had setups where the particles spawn inside of the objects that were meant to block them and thus simply go right through
ima let my buddy finish the structure i think. i have walls/ceiling/floor
4m high iron cage hut is enough in my experience.
I usually place it in a hole and put a ceiling above it
Then Ill save materials from walls and only have to do ceilings
Then add stairs down into the hole
can some one at end game let me join their world and get all the crafting/building recipes, just trying to be in creative mode.
Unless you parry it first
Meanwhile me, a Battle Axe user, with Tasty Mead running through my veins.
Fair but if you do it probably break your bubble
nocost temporarily unlocks all recipes anyway. if you don't have the recipes, that means nocost isn't enabled so you wouldn't be able to build them without the materials anyway
You should change that.
I love stunlocking everything short of a boss.

I became a blunt weapon man. A thing I've never done in any other game but it just kind of happened and then I never wavered from it lol.
Big Hammer. Why stunlock when you explode everyone.
But I also haven't played past the Mist so am a weak flabby Viking barely worthy of the name.
Stunlocking, when acknowledging the fact that you deal additional damage vs staggered enemies, means you explode-inate everyone even HARDER
Do I see another opportunity to show off a bit?
#memes-and-clips message
ive tried and nocost doesnt work for me
debug does work and im able to fly around
pressing B while debugmode is enabled toggles nocost, so pressing it twice turns it off again
goated, appreciate you.
Okay thati s incredibly impressive actually lol.
How you jumping so beeg?
The sheer stagger strength of Battle Axes combined with the fact that it doesn't deal reduced damage on entity cleave makes it feel so, so good.
Why spoil everything you can unlock playing the game and rob yourself of the reward of the sense of progression after grabbing new materials and defeating new enemies?
Some folks just wanna do creative and build stuff.
Sprint and jump momentum. Ratatosk tonic also helps.
Also, Padded Armour w/ Red Linen Cape and Black Metal Battle Axe is pretty drippy...
I tend to go pretty heavy on the shield tactics when I'm not hammering. It's wild to watch someone play it like it's a Devil May Cry game lol.
Battle Axes aren't bad at all when it comes to blocking/parrying tbh
It's also older clip before Call to Arms when it had -20% ms penalty (now -15%), plus parrying and dodging are easier now due to stamina cost changes.
Wild. Never messed too much with parrying if I didn't have a shield.
Yeah, 0 cost parries has been huge for Battle Axes.
The fact that one update gave us so much stamina economy (through innate changes and Trinket synergy) has made Battle Axes feel much better.
In a good way? Or a "TOO OP!" way?
Good way.
Cool.
Too op, parrying could at least pause stamina regen
Atgeirs too OP still.
Nerf Atgeir.
Give it a 15% movement speed penalty.
smile
ok i love the trollstav
Biggest thing for me is the ability to still parry even if the stamina is really low
my game almost crashed when i hit the stone pillar in the plains though
that was lowkey scary
IMO all 2h weapons (atgeir, battleaxe, 2h sword, sledge) could have -10%.
then we'll be 10% slower when fishing
I mean, I agree, I was mostly posting a "hee hee spiteful @ Atgeir" post.
my atgeir-shaped heart TvT
Is fishing rod considered as weapon?
depending on the definition, even the tankard is considered a weapon
ALL 2h weapons includes bows, magic, crossbows, pickaxes too
need them to unfix breaking animations by holding primary and secondary attack at the same time with weapons that don't have a secondary attack, doing that with a tankard used to let you repeatedly drink without consuming mead and without slowing you down, despite keeping your legs in place
Alright chat.
Packing my shit up from the Meadows and moving to another biome.
Where do I plant my primary base now?
in another meadows so you still have necks
mountain, i am not biased
-# do not pick mountain, drakes are annoying
Depends on your progress and what you want to accomplish with the new base
moving metals in is impossible too, why does this game hate mountain bases
furthest from water on average, and super steep terrain on the way there, bad for carts
Mountains are among the prettiest places to build. Plains will allow you to plant more crops. Swamps isβ¦
And Black Forest is lovely but the locals are a little much
I meant those I mentioned in cases.
swamps are underrated for base purposes
I'm up to Plains and ready to fight Yagluth.
I'd like an area where I can honestly just create something of a perimeter wall and then build a large longhouse, perhaps a storage barn, and then a small farm.
for that, plains seem great
... I probably just go to Plains then, yeah.
Find a spot where the skeeters donβt spawn and go nuts
Not needing to go between portals for the sake of Barley to Flour 'n' Flax to Linen Threads will be nice.
-# there are no spots where the skeeters don't spawn
you can't find a spot, you have to make it yourself
Tbf I play with Portal Items on since I've only so much mental energy and would rather spend it progressing in any other way.
Iβve had several spots where i suddenly get paranoid because where the heck are all the deathsquitos?? But thereβs nothing.
RNG can give ya droughts like that
hi there!
I can certainly create enough lamp posts to create something of a dead zone at least.
spawnproofing of course works as usual~
But luckily skeeters don't bother me much.
I give them the boop of doom 'n' despair with my Battle Axe and they turn into dust.
just saying there are no inherently safe areas
Turns out a perimeter of spinning blades is really good at dealing with them though
if i remember correctly, deathsquitos are also unique (weird) in that they ignore structures that enemies otherwise attack on sight.
I think setting up in Plains might be what'll start making me use spikes.
Probably set some up outside my wall.
just checked in-game, this is correct
i can't remember who told me about that but i was so hesitant to believe an understated exception in AI behaviour like that would be coded in that i immediately had to test it
if im making a base for mistlands, is it a bad idea to do it actually inside of the mistlands? i found a large group of islands where the perimiter is 90% of said biome, but therse a small plains island pretty much in the middle of them and idk if i should build there or in the mistlands
I found a plains village at the border of the mistlands and took over the stone tower for my base
Build in the Mistlands so you can actually farm Mistlands crops.
thank you. didnt even know there was mistland crops yet lol
im too afraid to make a mistlands base because of the gjall raids
Ballistas with Gjall Trophies should help a lot.
Also, whenever a raid happens, I usually just... move away from my base.
Enemies can't spawn around specific items anyway, so you can sorta control their spawns that way.
can i turn the mist off? LOL i cant see a darn thing
i dontthink you can
No but ||you can burn it away with wisplights||
im not going to click that, but at leat i know theres a way
the mist is pretty static btw, so if you find an area without mist puddles, that spot will stay clear of the thick particles, vice versa
they're not a weather effect but a part of the environment, emitted by invisible spawners
well i found a nice sea level flat spot, and a broken down black tower pretty close to eachother
but its right on the shore so its misty
dvergr health bars are green, are they friendly?
They're friendly until you attack them or their structures
ahh thats what that bird just told me
wait the embla set is so sick
ashlands tier magic is genuinely so powerful
plus the dundr is the coolest magic weapon ever
ive decided to take one of thier structures
Or yours within their ward, learned that one the hard way
They will absolutely not tolerate you punching your own boat whilst at their dock
they respect ur craft
this is the first biome i dont really like...
it introduces magic so its my favorite biome
i just despise the visual restrictions
Anyone know the release date for ps5? Been wanting to play this game for so long
we haven't told one yet besides 2026
Ahhh okays. Yeah only heard 2026 so was seeing if anyone knew anything else Iβm so hyped haha
that's all that has been said. 2026
Okays no worries
you do have a wisplight equipped right?
just asking because some players may miss that, i am aware that vision is still pretty restricted with one
no i dont
just landed on a beach with a black tower and some friendlies
im going to take thier tower but im scouting for the best way to do so
ah well, progression order intends for that to be made before entering mistlands, it doesn't cost anything from mistlands
from the things i got from yagu?
from what you can craft with it
Hmm, does it work fine if it's a very edge?
should be fine as long as your minimap says "mistlands" when you stand on the spot, afaik
-# actually now i wanna check whether the minimap indicator tracks original biome borders or the simplified ones that you actually see in the world itself
As long as the terrain has the mistland's terrain color and the land can be cultivated, it will grow
Sweet because I got a nice spot, it's pretty flat right at the edge of the plains
Did a sealed tower, yagluth, and then ventured into the mistlands and found a dvergerhome all in the same session. The game was getting bland then suddenly a lot happened at once
Usually does when entering new biomes
ogh snap its not even a torch, it just floats around you?! does it stay active or need repairs?
Always active and does not need repairs
Gravity is the most dangerous part of this game
Yeah it's really pretty and useful unlike navi...
You can only take 100 damage from a single fall FYI
Doesn't help when you get slapped off a cliff by a stone golem...
-# i mean given enough max HP, it does
-# not disagreeing though, gravity is responsible for a considerable amount of my own deaths
im so glad theres a cape that just ||removes fall damage||
Well I mean, you'd better get cracking! 2026 is almost over!
I was at level 99 run... died to a small army of goblins...
Where
you make it in the mistlands
20 refined etir 10 feathers 5 scale hide
really cheap for how good it is
same
my first playthrough i did zero wiki lookin at
i only look at a wiki now to refresh my brain on things
Hanging around here will pretty much inevitably get you more of these spoilers
you say that 18 days into the year π€
only 300 days ish left its so close to being over
I just got an ad for "cloud gaming"
Bruh and get even MORE lag with 9 friends no thank you
Canβt be 18 days. January has been at least five weeks so farβ¦. Right?
Surprised he even finished his waking up animation with 9 people
To be fair only like 3 of us actually had the correct gear. All the rest were at like swamp gear
something tells me that is at least partially the fault of custom models made with higher poly counts than the game is used to haha
Yeah like the Gundam model...
But it was not the fps, it was the synchronization of players all very far away from each other
due to how mp works, if the chunk master has bad enough performance in things like fps, it can make things laggy for everyone else nearby
The server is dedicated and was not overloaded
yepp that's entirely on the client
I guess there's good reason for 10 maximum number of players
the server doesn't do any simulations itself, it's just handling communication between clients afaik.
whoever first enters a chunk has all of that chunk's business being done on their client and then communicated to the rest
Hey, does anyone know when the 8th boss will be?
Wondering the mists at night with the music off and hearing a gjall in the sightless distance is still one of most unsettling experiences this game has to offer.
could be this summer
Could also not be this summer. Will be whenever the devs say it is, which they have yet to do.
Yep, especially when ||they can spawn with stars during night||.
we know for sure it won't be on or before jan 18
shit i don't think I've seen a starred gjall before
oh they exist
That would certainly be an experience. Are their tick spawn starred as well?
nah
generally anything spawned by a starred enemy isn't gonna be starred
someone should test with a starred warlock's persistent flame attacks
also wonder about starred trolls' groundslam
Sniping mosquitos with a crossbow is a fun viking pastime.
They drop just normal ticks.
Please, drop the game on Ps5 π₯²
I once died to 2 star one.
They do during this year.
mood. they kill shockingly fast once they latch onto you
anyone wanna help me kill moder i just needa bring one egg and he spawns i got 250 fire arrows and im ready to go dm me
why not obsidian arrows?
guys when will the winter biome be released?
on the wiki im p sure it says hes weak to fire
also hes an ice dude so i figured fire
she is but that doesn't make up for how weak fire arrows are
she's weak to fire but fire arrows are too far behind in progression
She spends so much time flying that you can alternate. Besides, its cool to watch her fly while burning.
Don't alternate, just use obsidian
Probably. It takes less than 200 arrows.
or a few needle arrows if you pass through plains on the way in
BORING! Like I said, its cool to watch her burn.
there's nothing cool about killing things slowly
Says you.
frostner over here killing things slowly by cooling them:
is moder an easy boss to kill solo?
everything in Valheim is balanced for a single player
It depends on what else shows up while your fighting her.
imo she's the most inconsistent one.
sometimes she's easy, other times she's an absolutele pushover. but i've only played on default settings so far
i disagree with this
that is the design philosophy though.
things are easier in a group no doubt, but the game is intentionally designed around singleplayer first
It gets easier once you know what to do versus each boss.
ah i guess it is my first playthru
Yeah, I have over 5200 hours. So each boss is pretty easy as long as I don't make mistakes.
isn't any boss easy if someone makes no mistakes?
I would hope so.
There's space to make mistakes on any difficulty
quite a few on normal
Depends on which attack you make the mistake against. Some just kill you.
is it easy to make no mistakes?
no but that's the point
if you got that part down, it's easy, but what remains isn't the hard part
no, thats my point
Once you know what your doing, it takes some effort to screw up. π
maybe if wildly unprepared, no resistance whilst eating very bad food
Going to hell guys. Wish me luck
That i do friend. That i do.
I doubt I'll finish ashlands, not enjoyable, inb4 "skill issue"
I do seriously dislike Ashlands. Its just an ugly biome.
i was not having a great time there solo back in testing, but i've not checked it out since
Its still a slug fest pretty much all the time. Just not as bad as it was during ptb.
I ran into something I do not recall ever running into before. I found a Draugr village with two buildings that have the throne area. Neither one had the chair, unfortunately. But I do not recall ever seeing two of those buildings in the same village before.
Employing our big blue friends π
Yeah, we don't have dynamite.
However that will not get you all the copper there is
Not fast, and never can do an entire node with them.
It is much faster than using antler pickaxe, but the downside is indeed you cant get the whole node without uncovering it first π
Gaming mouse or regular?
Trolls are an excellent way to get copper and tin before getting picks, though.
embrace gamerism
Damn it I meant to reply my own message and edited it instead
a 3 mouse button is fine. Those buttons are for people who do more complex games with complex combat.
Fml
Thought so
need valhiem on playstation π
Thanks
I have 2 side buttons on my mounse but use mostly one of them for push to talk in games π
Will be this year π
i know but that could be so long π
Lets just hope that company keeps on schedule for this year, and it does not roll over to next year.
I forget their name.
but when!? december is still this year QQ, i want to play with my PS friend
We dont know sadly
i know π
not being able to wear the belt and use the wisplight is pretty hindering
Hmm, neither really seems necessary to me
Oh hey Asatru. Still the puncher of drakes I see
Almost everything in mistlands can be portalled, and if I remember right the tissue isn't toooo heavy?
Wisplight just feels like it does very little to me. I usually do a big part of mistlands before making it
To me it just feels like a very small radius
And there's not much ranged threats in the mistlands so I feel like I don't need to be able to see far anyways. Maybe that's just me though
Wisplight is always better to have than not have, but often times I don't feel like killing yag immediately and just head straight to mistlands
Yeah for me its very much a matter of comfort and quality of life over absolute necessity
I killed 14 Gjall yesterday. Several in the space of one fire resist potion. I love my wisplight, but thankfully, im in an area that has a lot of non-mist mistland
I was wondering about this. Do I even need a pickaxe here? I do like the wisp light though, but I can probably do without the belt if I cut what I'm carrying
Also wondering if I should switch to padded but it feels so slow and clunky compared to fenris
14 in one game day? Or one day of playing? Because 14 in a game day is impressive.
Four hours of playing
Sleeping at night
I haven't had 1 clear spot yet in my explorations. I did find 3 infested mines and 2 dverger camps
Only if you want to get black marble from some very limited locales. I get most of mine from structures, so all I need is a work bench and my hammer.
I named it iron valley because of the swords and armor lying around
I figured with it dropping fro dverger, and the towers it would be sufficient. I'm actually going to build out this tower on the shore at some point
Of course, if you get stuck inside of a skull, your going to wish you had a BM pick.
This is a shot a friend took when visiting
Yeah that looks nice
I need to so much more marble. Making a large house there
Deconstructing towers and bridges will get you a lot, aside from skulls and ribs. Bridges also give you tons of iron bars.
whats the best method
Yep, I have 3 bodies and skulls to dismantle nearby still, I got a lot from infested mines and their towers, plus two other towers and a part of a bridge
just took out our first gjall
I use carapace arrows and aim for their underside, im sure there are better ways. I use my Demolisher to pound the ground for ticks. I pop a fire resist as soon as I hear the dubstep
If there is a better way to deal with them, aside from magic staves, I'd love to hear it.
I find them annoying as long as they dont have seeker friends below. Then its a tense battle I sometimes lose
I've never used the arbelest, not sure if thats better than a bow
When I hear them I seek out the nearest root. They usually provide great cover while allowing me to shoot back pretty easily.
Oh yeah, its all about geting behind something and popping out for shots
Lingering stamina meads are my drink of choice π
When I am in the Mistlands I pretty much live on lingering stamina, and the meads for running and jumping.
what does upgrading the trollstav do
Probably best to read its wiki entry for those details.
hey man i did and all it shows is increased durability, i was asking to make sure that was it
sometimes it doesnt include the summons on the wiki
Pretty sure it just ups durability, sadly
Pretty sure the summons scale from your skill level.
how much copper is enough
Depends. Unless you want the lighting fixtures, two nodes should be enough for necessities.
For solo play.
Depends how much gear you want. I hate mining copper and make as little gear as possible. Armor made from black forest metal in particular feels useless to me
But you can also always come back later if you end up needing more
I use copper instead of iron for wall support in mistlands
Still use a lot of iron, but copper is so easy to get
I have wondered how well those would work in walls, compared to iron.
If its a wide wall, they work great
How are they for helping build tall structures?
havent tested max height tho. Iron may still be better
Yeah, that is what I was curious about.
wiki says same height as iron
Hopefully I will remember that if I ever build a super tall structure again.
You will want some copper down the line for a few things, just keep a stack or 2 of smelted copper bars for light and a few things in Mistlands
The light fixtures are really great because they last so long before needing resin refills
Keep in mind going back to get copper later goes faster with better picks and higher skill, plus the creatures become just a nuisance rather than a threat.
So if you do 2 to 3 nodes initially, you can come back later once your in iron gear, for example.
I break all the braziers in the mtn caves. You get a lot of bronze bars from them.
Plus you might get iron from the doors.
I figure I'll just walk the coast in my robes and level my skeles while I pull a cart
Carts can be easier along the coast line, but eventually the ground gets too rough to pull carts along.
Carry a portal and when cart full, go get a pocket boat to sail it back
Hoe hoe hoe, pulling a cart I go
Until you hit the coastal rock formations. Then you need a pick as well.
Need the pick for the tin anyway π
Yep. Just saying, it can turn into a lot of time and work.
Valheim turn into a lot of time and work? no way π
I used to spend a lot of time making proper roads and nice trails, in addition to building a lot. I hardly do any of that any more.
It depends on my mood.. also have ADHD, so a lot of unfinished projects
At about the 3000 hour mark, I became much more concerned with just doing the bare minimum. π
The more I play, the more I just escape into the process.. but im only at 1192 hours
It's like No Man's Sky, I got hard for a while, then go play something else and come back to go hard again
I'm currently closing in on 5300 hours. I refurbished a BF tower for the first time in a long time. Even added to its fortifications. I enjoyed doing it, so may start doing more of that again.
I love rebuilding and sprucing up abandoned ruins
Me too. I really enjoy restoring the draugr villages.
I did a save where I limited myself to only being able to build where a structure was. Made it interesting
Had to wipe out a fuling village to make a plains base
My wife and I even found a draugr village on the water front in our current play through. Turned it into our main base. Just found a second one yesterday that I am seriously tempted to make into another base. It even has two of the throne buildings, plus 6 other buildings.
A skeleton arena is also close by.
Close enough to trigger the spawn or just a little bit too far?
Would be a nice auto farm
Too far.
Though not much use for bones lol
Yeah, even in Ashlands,. You find tons of bones in that biome, so no real need for more.
You get so used to the mistlands that you dont use the wisplights anymore
Only using it for assistance
That would probably be true for me if I had good vision in the first place.
Ever since my second playthrough I've barely used the wisplight
I spent a very big amount of time in the mistlands without a wisp but it was because I didn't have access to it
doing it by choice is wild
I go in early, and only during the day period. Aside from that I always use the wisps.
Mist torches for paths too. I would hate it being completely without a wisp
the trick if you really have to is just to zoom in all the way on your character
Should I make an iron mace before facing Bonemass?
I would spend a lot more time in the Mistlands if I could see more. I really love it when I find open areas free of mists.
My clubs skill is only 16
Axes is 33
I would honestly save the iron but your choice is if you want maximum dmg
Polearms 52 but that's pierce
I always use a mace versus Bonemass. Not sure what all he resists. I know pierce is one.
I was wondering if a max upgraded iron battleaxe could do the job well?
Yeah I think he's neutral for slash
No bonemass is resistance to the two other physical dmg type except blunt
Oh
Clubs is my favorite skill, so I probably over use those weapons. π
Swords are pretty nice too. I just don't use them until I hit the plains.
Atgeir's my favourite
I have the hardest time with Atgeirs. They just feel so... odd, to me.
I've been less reliant on atgeirs
They have the best reach
And their power attack is awesome
Sweep all enemies in huge radius
Interesting how the dvergrs have stronger magic weapons
Whats your guys opinions on kroms and arblist
The power of being there for cinematic purposes.
d o p e
I hate the Arbalest for being so slow, but aside from that, its pretty killer. Literally.
I just realised ive only handed in the deer boss and bonemass lol
I'm not a fan of the two handed swords, so no opinion there.
I pretty much only use Eikthyrs power, so I could go the entire game without sacrificing the rest of them.
I went axes
Whyyyyy D:, I hate you now... ||im kidding||
To be fair they are slow so I get you on that
I do like the 2 handed axes. They are fun, but more for cutting down multiple trees at once, and destroying fuling villages.
first time not going magic in mistlands and not
I'm not a fan of the magic, so I have only gone melee ever since I tried out magic.
Whats better Spinesnap or Dragur fang
For over all damage, Spinesnap is better. I just hate the stamina cost.
does it use more?
Stamina? Yeah, a lot more.
They are heavy...
why is there no ashwood roof bro π
add some grausten pillars?
That wooden house aint gonna hold a giant stone roof
Iron. Weather it's by beams or grates
Or flametal
Tar roofs are good enough
adding too many buildables that are too similar just floods the building menu
not imo id like a roof that matches the pristine quality of ashwood
i worked hard ash for this ashwood im gonna use a new roof
If you don't want the metal showing up, you could frame your walls too, like having grausten or metal inside of two Ashwood walls (walls be thiccer, but it works
I'm having that problem with necks. Despite butchering dozens of em I ain't got one yet
Rng just plays favorites sometimes π€·ββοΈ
why do you even want a neck trophy
The collection
I was gonna say I can sesne blobicycake from a mile away
