They CAN spawn. There's like a 10% chance that they spawn, and if not then the zone is excluded from spawn checks for like the next 20 minutes or so.

(numbers probably not accurate, haven't checked the wiki to be sure)

Today is day X, and when he's done with exam we wanted to complete this game but unfortunately update didn't make it up to this date

The devs are working hard on Deep North which will be the 1.0 version, leaving Early Access and being the full release. This will come out exactly when its ready, no one know if this will be in 2025, 2026 or 2027, people are guessing, and the last biome took 18 months to come out, but this is more than just 1 biome, so feel free to do your own speculation.

It is very likely sometimes something is missed in first trip, given how they sometimes feel like mini mazes. On the bright side, you have 2 cores more now.

One way could also be marking those rooms/corridors that are searched. Building log benches for example since they are buildable inside dungeons and they require only 1 material.

Depending on what the other stuff apart from deer stew is, this is black forest food, maybe you are even on some meadows food still, you should use 3 swamp tier foods, this will make you feel so much stronger

most people use HHS or HSS (2 health 1 stam or 2 stam 1 health food combination) You need carrots and turnips to unlock all of this, carrots from forest and turnips from swamp

When planting Ivy, is there any way to see on the planting "hologram" how it will orient itself to the wall you plant it near? I have just planted 6 of them and every single one grew squarely at angle to the wall. Looks crap, so when I get more seeds I'm gonna try to replant them.

Hey - so far as I can tell, there isn’t a proper way of knowing what it’s going to look like

Really, the orientation of placement when you plant the vines shouldn’t matter from my experience

The only time I have trouble with planting stuff is when there are multiple walls next to each other (like a corner)
Then the vines don’t know what surface to attach too, so they look ugly

But if you are working with a flat wall, then it should just attach and grow properly

I'll take a screenhot tomorrow. They are normal, straight wooden walls and stakewalls, without any corners. The plants have attached to the walls, only their orientation is perpendicular to the wall, which looks stupid since once attached it is a nearly two-dimensional model.

Huntsmen bow is really good, it has a special thing, you can snipe with it, as it creates less noise than all the other bows, you can often shoot at a pack of monsters and if they are 4m apart only 1 will come to find you and their friend will keep standing there not noticing anything happened, this range is like 8m fr the other bows (I keep that bow on me at least until end of the 5th biome)

btw, i wanna say how good the combat in this game feels. the enemies take the right amount of damage, their attacks are telegraphed, you can stagger them, and there's a clear progression. my only gripe is that the dodging is on an awkward button combo instead of a dedicated button like in dark souls

but there's a mod to fix that

i also gravitate towards movement and parrying with light armor and the spear as my baby. eik also continues to serve me, because bonemass' power is a bit useless if you strive to not get hit

Main problem where I landed is there is only a narrow strip of land between the coast and the lava sea, haven't been able to travel far enough in either direction to find more landmass. So I suppose mob spawns are condensed due to that? But the mobs can move around the lava freely so I dunno. Except the dvergr, they just keep killing themselves in the lava. They seem to think they are immune.

you know, swamps are a luxury. if you think the stamina penalty with the wet debuff is bad, well how about no stamina at all in mistlands? terrain i feel is your worst enemy in mists, not the fog.

I have 3 main character (one I started using only recently) and she found Haldor nice and early

Soooo off I go to do some fishing off the coast of a dark forest, only to find a VERY big fish screaming at me from the side of my karve 🤣

It Is! I'm mostly playing alone on the server cause they just play sometimes, but the game is so cool

Agreed! When one of them left me to die, I trolled them showing the plans biome, we all died to the same mosquito lol

You get good loot from it though!
You just gotta play it smart - like being in a boat over the water, so you only have to cast your line a meter or two from the boat

Never run out of stamina with that strategy! 🥰

devs should make it so that your shadowe can spook them, and that for some fish, you must be completely out of their sight. i'd hate it even more, but it'd be cool

I'm afraid of swamps cause, everytime a Spectre and Abomination gang up against me when It gets dark

Last time I actually won, someone taught me to block better

Yep! I tried to parry an stone golem ... It knocked me off the mountain and I died to fall damage-

If you reach a point when you don't feel like using it anymore, you can put it on an item stand as a light for your builds

And the one that gives +150 inventory, couldnt mine without It

I play on a server that they set up in an mmorpg style, when I see a golem or a fenrir... I can start praying.

Oh, will do! I carry It around with me and only uses It when I'm not fighting

and on this server they even made the Deep North authenticate the server hahahaha

oh, fenrings used to creep me out. some of their voice lines sound almost like human speech. it remindend me of skinwalker stories

Ngl I saw a fenrir without even knowing It spawned on mountains at night, but I got an 3x shot with a hunting bow and It only had around 5% life left

I should start setting bases around the biomes so I wont explore at night-

I agree hahaha, I started doing that. mainly in the swamp and ashlands... what hellish places
