@plush umbra Did a bit more digging, there's some mods (such as Under the Radar) that have options to show ores on the minimap. This might not be what you're looking for, but I figured it would be worth mentioning. The item you get from defeating ||bonemass|| should theoretically suit all your silver-finding needs, though.

it snaps with each other, but its rounded/uneven on the edges, not a straight line, so when i build wooden walls on it, it looks uneven, some of the wall protudes outwards, some part shows the edge of the stone foundation, I dont know how to explain it, can we share screenshots here?

You already have the belt, that is unlikely to increase, and the inventory is something they've said many times that they will not be changing. But since bog witch you can make a mead to temporarily boost how much you can carry.

There's always a reasonable chance, but if we go off of what has happened previously, it's more likely we get alterations to stack sizes and additional ways to buff carrying weight, though it may be less useful now considering there's 3 different ways to improve it already.

Yeah, unless it's a retroactive change, it'd be incredibly lackluster to have an expanded inventory in the final biome, it can be argued that we needed that 2 biomes ago, and I'm sure sure some would say earlier as well.

Blood gems are not that good for melee weapons in most cases if you are not using a very specific build, both jade and iolite are great for pretty much all weapons but i personally prefer iolite weapons 🙂

Fight went much smoother than I thought, was mostly guerilla tactics - hit and run, offload a heap of bombs, run away again, deal with adds, running in and out of cover to snipe her with fire arrows. Not so much to cause damage, but man was she easier to see when burning...

Only mods I really use are for planting some trees you can’t normally - small plains trees for example - and a mod that adds custom baskets and barrels for the farmable goodies 🥰

I’m more of a builder, so having a few nice add-ons that don’t feel completely out of place are nice for me

If you did bring portal mats with you, build a base close to the Ashlands.
It's always possible you need to enter that place again while not having a portal there. And in that case a portal nearby is very handy.

I wish the devs changed the skill gain of weapons from per hit basis to amount of damage dealt
its frustrating that you're gaining less exp from actually killing your enemies with good gear than pelting them with weak shots and weak gear just to maximize gain.
even fighting strong opponents are less ideal for leveling up your skills unless you create a setup specifically for grinding the skills out

But it’s no where near the brutal levels of other survival games when it came out. It was the softiest by far.

And IMO that’s is partially why it was so popular. People could play it fast or slow at thier pace.

Most other survival games (at the time) were a constant race to not die.

So yeah; not sure of the “right” word here. It’s more of a feeling that Valheim gave compared to other games.

And so it attracted a larger player base; and with that comes balancing issues.

Personally I use a spear and just run circles and throw it; stagger them that way.

Yeah, tin is easy as it's near shore so you can see anything coming and easily mine it, but with copper... Mining is loud AF so you're constantly being hit by rocks when trying to mine

Yeah, all forms of resource gathering (tree chopping, mining etc) creates “noise” to 100m, the longest distance of any activity.

That’s why grey dwarfs keep coming when doing copper mining. They hear you from so far.

For the future: bosses cannot be staggered from parry. So dodge roll or regular blocks work too and cost less stamina.

Another usual problem: it's weekend, it's good / nice / beautiful weather in several countries and at least one country is having festivities today. So not everyone is able to or willing to respond.

This is why I mostly play solo. Playing with others is absolutely awesome, but the irl chores of getting a crew consistently together to progress together is nearly impossible, at least when dealing with adults on different schedules, with kids with football/music practice/whatever. The times we ARE able to get together a few hours we have an absolute blast, but 95% of my time in Valheim is solo, all the same.

It's pretty pointless to speculate, but I'd wager there will some kind of half-way patch, similar to the Hildir and Bog Witch updates, with some cool stuff to keep us busy while waiting for the Big One. That one might have some Ocean specific things, and a Big Bad Serpent "boss" fight from your boat would be a cool thing in that regard.
