You can also clip yourself inside any dungeon to outside with help of log bench (which don't require workbench to craft). Basically set the bench so it clips through wall so you can sit on it inside wall. Then you can drop down and survive with having more than 100hp.

Hello, i have a question regarding Dyrnwyn fragments. I found one, now i have second Mysterious Location on the map, but all i found there was a runestone. I dug a whole, mined a rock surrounding the area. I cannot find any entrance or structure or anything for that matter. Location contains nothing as far as i am aware. I am kind of lost as to where to go or what to do now. Any tips perhaps? I did take a picture of the area but i cannot post it here.
I had this world created even before Mistlands were introduced, so not sure if all them updates could've changed the layout of the map since then.
Seed is kewlWOMBAT. I did check the valheim map world website for Drynwyn pieces. But the markers point me to completely different locations in comparison to what game shows me. Even that one piece i already have, on the map world website it shows it elsewhere.

I started a new world with an old character but made a reset for the recipes using the command "resetknownitems". Should I be worried about player based raids since the progress of this character is ashlands clear and not mountains like the world would be? Your items swim 😉 but.... well.... I made the quest with a friend. So we both got one. And.... since we wanted to travel to the far north and see the end of the world afterwards, we changed the settings to "your character keeps the equiped Items when he dies"... We travel far north, got a bit to close to the edge and the world tried to suck us into the abyss... I don't know why but he jumped into the water... I died on the ship.
His dyrnwyn is lost since you unequip a weapon as soon as you start swimming and I still got mine 😄

Hello again, i've got one more question. Ashstorm. Looks fantastic, love it. But i did notice.. Am aware that this is early access still. But boy oh boy.. It is quite demanding on the system isn't it? Snowstorm in the mountains is nothing in comparison. I noticed almost 25 degree C increase on my GPU. I am sitting comfortably at 47-52 Degree C. But this storm is something else. Any toughts on that.

Cooling is on the weaker side, i am very aware. But i do play at 30fps to go easier on the pc. Works wonders. Graphic settings were always low, only draw distance increased to medium. Since yesterday i increased all settings to medium. And like i said my temps are around 50 degree C. But when that ashstorm hit it really went crazy.

You could try undervolting your GPU, plus your specs are not too bad, u could run the game in 1600x900 with 60 fps and keep the same graphics settings, or maybe try 1920x1080 60FPS to see if it runs well.
The temp problem is probably due to very bad ventilation or maybe a detective GPU, try undervolting it from Nvidia App (since u have a 3060) and see if it works better, the performance will decrease 10% but its not that big of a deal, ur specs are decent for valheim in at least 50 fps 1920x1080

Get enough space for your Pc
Go lower resolution (1600x900)
Clean your fans if they are dirty

It never crashed, GPU driver is up to date. And i like playing on 30fps. I don't mind that. Like i said, my cooling is bad, currently cannot upgrade. And temps are sitting around 45-50 degree C everywhere, even in Ashlands. Its just when the storm hits there that the temps went up a lot.

Upgrading would definitely help. But i was just wondering how are other people experiencing ashstorms. Maybe its also game optimization issue as much as my cooling. Who knows. Was just wondering.

it has to be a cooling issue since that's what your temps are supposed to be when you're playing on high graphics and high fps

but you play on low settings and low fps

I don't mind 30fps and medium or low settings. If you get 50 degrees on high and 60fps then that's pretty beastly cooling/pc you have.
I'm fine with everything, i was just wondering how other people experience ashstorms. Because despite my bad cooling and all that. I feel that the temp increase I got during the storm is bit out of place. I felt like it might be game issue.
In comparison to other games I can play, that are more demanding, with more visual effects and so on. And my pc is completely fine all around.

Visual effects don't mean a lot if there aren't lots of particles involved, it is not how good it looks that defines how many computations there need to be to show it.
A good looking game can be easier on gpu and cpu then a game that doesn't look as good.

No problem, games might look more demanding because they look good and have more visual effects but might actually be easier on the cpu and / or gpu because how those visual effects are created and what calculations need to be made.

If they are just visual but don't interact with the world at all, they are quite easy on gpu and cpu.

Now if that same visual effect would have collisions included that change what happens with the visual effect depending on what it hits, then that same visual effects needs more culculations done and will be heavier on the gpu and / or cpu.
The more particles and behaviors of said particles said visual effect has the more computations that need to be made simultaneously.

Are you avoiding entering at night? That increases spawn rate, and for some enemies the maximum stars. (Normally 0-1, up to 2)

Mistlands respawn timers are pretty long during the day. You might get a big horde if you start making noise near a mine entrance or dvergr ruin, but aside from those and random gjall spawns Mistlands is actually pretty empty during the day (if you don't count hares). Otherwise seekers only spawn in pairs iirc which is managable with frostner & plains gear.

As for how to kill them level 4 frostner 2- or 3-shots unstarred seekers and the slow makes them easy to kite. Frost arrows work well too.
And you can block their attacks with a black metal shield as long as you eat 2 plains-tier hp foods.

Story; I was lookign for resources. I found two dwergs areas. Three minutes seekers came, then a Ganju. We defeat those, almost all dwergs dies. Then i made a mistake, dwerg from tower attacked. I ended them, my fault. Took resources. A soldier 2 stars came. Started to fight, 2 deaths. Another Ganju came, tried to fight him. Soldier came back. Destroyed soldier. Restarted to fight ganju. Two more seekers: 1 star and deafult came.
