least favourite is iron in practice, copper in theory. i grind way more iron than i need and barely make any gear with it because i'm a builder, so i've gotten a little tired of the appearance of sunken crypts. copper i almost never use for gear and barely mine, but if i did make bronze armor, it would annoy me.
silver is my favourite by far, so satisfying to shatter.

Copper is easy if you know the trick.
Tin is plain easy to find, you can basically trip over it.
Black metal is..... well, like I mentioned before, there's so much of it, you don't need to worry about running short of it.
Silver can be tricky, but with the same trick as for copper it's quite easy.
(edit): Iron is fun, but you need to keep in mind you will face some hard decissions once in a while.

I guess facing a 10K ore vein of 20 quality metal in WO has taught me that there are worse things as mining a node for 99 copper and 200 stones. 🤣

Here's a tip for mining copper quicker: mine what you can see instead of digging around and trying to break everything. Once you've cleared that, move on to another node

it's a bit weird.
the initial shot stacks and combines the poison damage of the bow and arrow.
but since poison doesn't stack, any subsequent shot will just cancel the remaining DoT of the previous arrow. so if you shoot one poison arrow and then shoot again afterwards, you basically still wasted most of the poison arrow

For copper, mine around it first. Then move down below it and mine it out from the bottom; before going to the top.
Put some fires and a workbench under the node to get resting bonus.

When you can't get to the higher area anymore, get out from under it and start mining from the top, outside - in as the gap between the rest of the BF and the node is large enough for most monsters not to attack you.
At some point the entire node is "free" of its surrounding environment and whatever is there will pop into stone and copper.
Just pick up what you need and leave. The workbench will protect the drops for as long as it's standing there.

just defeated the queen. 2 of us, was easy i thought

i had mage armor and i think it was lvl 4 padded helmet.

I thought honestly one of the easiest bosses. but maybe that's just cause we were double teaming her.

we killed her in less 10 mins.

I managed to barely get it by jumping from the front of the ship since it's elevated a bit

it's slower than bows but consumes basically no stamina and has more per-bolt damage, consuming less ammo and doing much more damage on unaware targets. its bolts also travel faster and don't drop off.
but they don't scale as strongly with levels as bows, in addition to levelling much slower due to the lower firerate and inexplicable halved XP gain.
crossbows level 0 vs bows level 0 might have crossbows winning in pure dps by a little bit, but crossbows level 100 vs bows level 100 is an easy win for bows

It can be used to make a greydwarf farm.
The possible spawns are: 0-2 stars greydwarfs, greydwarfs shamans and greydwarf brutes.
