Iron sledge is great, but it's hard to manage. It won't stun Golems, so you end up being vulnerable quite a bit.

Best to eat before it falls off entirely so you won't end up at 24 health, can be fatal

Otherwise it is an evaluation game - let the duration tick and have less benefit, or refresh as soon as possible and stay topped up - you decide

You lose the most of its value near the end, i usually eat again a bit after halfway done though

And don't underestimate the importance of food upgrades - going into later biomes in weak foods is generally a bad idea

Yes when the food runs out you lose everything the food gave you. But also it gradually falls off over time. If you eat something and it gives you 20hp, then when the timer is down to like 10 seconds you're only getting 50% of that bonus (10hp). Closer to zero the timer gets the more you lose to a max of 50% of the stats

yup. And then throw a bunch of berries to them, and wait 30ish minutes and they get tamed. Often takes a bit longer because if they get aggroed on you again they'll stop taming until they calm down. And you have to stay in the relative area for taming to progress

I want to build a good looking, ethical village, but the range on the bell is way too small, the walls have to be at least a meter thick and the AI is just too dumb. So on

Make small shelters as you explore so you don't have to go back. Take small ruins, repair the roof and put a campfire outside (so you don't have to mess with chimneys) - rest, store some stuff, and move on

You can make a new base each time but most people make a base in meadows and stay there, just bringing materials back (and maybe a base in plains later)

Semi-structured like that. The more dangerous biomes are generally further out but it's not a cookie-cutter type thing. You can easily come across a super dangerous biome before the one you're intended to go to

Axes are for chopping wood, their slow buildup make them inferior in combat to me, swords are more aggressive, and the multi-target thing is sugar on top

With a more defensive combat style I'm sure axes are great, but I often find myself getting hit using axes, where with a sword I just reap

Once you get decent food shield and level block skill some you can take in dangerous enemies

Soldier trophies are atrocius to get. Much recommended to just find another queen (another mistland, another queen location, another queen inside)

it's a 5% drop rate so 10 soldiers is 50-50 if you'd get a trophy

I once was playing with 2 friends (me and one friend experienced, 1 friend new) while we were in mountain stage, and we came across mistlands and the new friend ran in. Immediately came across a 2 star seeker soldier 🤣

Apparently it was stuck tho, and both my friends just sat there shooting it with bows for 3-4 minutes before I came in there and said hi. In 4 mintues they had taken it down like 15-20% of its health

I’m honestly tempted to host a server just to see what people would do as a group on no map, no portal, very hard, max raids, hardcore death, but idk about .5 resource rate since so many people would be losing so many mats but then again it might make it more interesting

I'd prob pack up my whole base once I get a bit of bronze and go search for a little meadows spot to set up next to a big mountain and more importantly a crypt infested swamp. I love being able to run resources back quick and on no map even more so

My current base feels so nice. Just a short jog to a ton of crypts, and getting silver off the mountain and to my base took me about 1.5 minutes with a cart
