You can make this game more fun to play around a bit with the World Modifiers.
Set your own goals, find a nice spot to build a base and build that to your liking.

There's no rule that says you need to defeat Eikthyr at the first day, the Elder at day 7, Bonemass after a month and so on.

Just play at your own pace, experiment with the settings and do what you like.

And if that doesn't help....., take a break and come back after a while to rediscover what this game has to offer.

You can easily try that. Deep North has determined location on map, in the Northest edge of the world, like Ashlands is in opposite at the Southest edge.

So avoiding going too North and you'll be fine and get the update properly generated to your world.

Could be a number of issues because valheim isnt the BEST game for joining others, but anytime I've done multiplayer I always have to spam the join button like 10 times before it lets me in instead of just giving me "connection failed"

At least when directly joining someone. Joining a dedicated server isn't too bad

How is it the Valheim team has figured out crossplay but Rockstar with billions of dollars can't figure it out for RDR2. It baffles me.

Playing multiplayer and exploring ashlands is pretty horrible 😅

First time there and things and enemies keep warping around. Hard to know sometimes why i died

One thing I like about ashlands is that different enemy types can damage each other

So a scary situation of multiple enemys surrounding you can be equalized with lets say a valk spinning and dealing aoe plus askvins headbutting the party and stuff

re: crossplay - It's not like this stuff is wizardry or that there is a sacred order of "people who can do cross-platform net code" and only so many of them exist. If a small scrappy team like IG can figure it out - I think they might have brought in some external consultation - surely Rockstar can pull it off with their billions of dollars.

its not scaled properly texture-wise, the pixels are way too big compared to other items in the game, it's a giant blur. You can't even tell its supposed to be ravens >_< compare it to any other item and it looks like it's been resized wrongly
