never used much, the fact that they wether trigger everything yourself included or a single kind of mob renders them a bit unconfortable..
Used some pointing inwards base for night seekers that may jump the wall, or one in a mistlands farm set for Gjall to help me protect crops.. both not super useful tbh

if you want to transport a lot of material inland (like iron) the cart is the WORST thing in the Valhalla, Its more efficient doing it encumbered and dropping the ores to gain stamina than using the useless carts, i tried with a cart FULL of iron obviously doesn't work and i think well its like A LOT so i will use 30% of the total amount, that should work maybe hard but should work... yup i was wrong, the cart its just trash, it can be deleted and it doesn't make a difference i can full my inventory with trash put 2-3 chests and that's it i can build things

The most important thing Is to NOT fill the cart all the way, do 1/3 or half, that way you can still pull it almost anywhere

I used the cart yesterday to run silver from the top of the mountain to the bottom then around it, took a day, only repaired twice

Carts are for pushing off the tops of mountains when full of silver, and picking up at the bottom to load into a boat.

Only thing I use it for is throwing silver off of mountains

If you're looking to stockpile, it'd make zero sense.

If only they realized they could drop a chest, run the cart in within 1/4 of the time, go back and grab the rest, still halving their trip length.

The fact that they still saw worth in hauling the cart the way they did shows how useful it is even when you use it wrong.

we take 50 hours between biomes and we burn out after we finish

all playthroughs, I love to build cities

we restarted every new biome

and every playthrough is super thorough and stretched out

most of us want to play the new update, but some don't

Very unlikely the Multiplayer will change, they would have to rewrite the entire netcode.

I have a question, I can understand increasing the challenge but otherwise why would people want to disable portals entirely? I see a lot of custom worlds on the lfg page that have them disabled is that because people have problems with multiplayer abuse or some other reason entirely? I understand turning off cartography tables because I've seen many times what that can do over time but I just don't see what good turning off portals does 🤷 Immersion?

Hey there, first time using this discord server so if I dont do something right, please correct. But I am playing Valheim and out of no where I cannot build anything. I place a building piece (workbench, ladder, wood stack) and it builds it just fine, and a second later breaks. I am running a game through the basic Valheim game community server and the person I am playing with has zero issues building where my items are failing. I have checked the files on steam - no issues. I have tried to restart and also uninstall and reinstall - issue persists. I was directed here. Anyone experience this and know a fix? We are at a stage of building our main base in the game and this is rendering it unplayable for me.
