It's a workbench improvement. Build it near a workbench to increase its level. Some items need a higher level to craft and upgrade.

All improvements do the same thing, but you can only have one of each.

Most upgrades will need BETTER than a workbench Level 1 (without tanning rack) and you should be able to upgrade your workbench all the way to level 3 already! Some things cannot be crafted at all if your workbench (or later different crafting station) is of too low a level

Then check the room/ or break them all to get the exact cost of everything

So I want to carry with me all the furniture from storage

Build it in storage, then break it all

That is the alternative to the convenience of nocost

But doesn't beat the decision making on the fly (and not worrying about picking items back up )

A buddy and mine just started a new playthrough. With default settings for difficulty and combat we're getting one star shamans and two star skeletons as adversaries from the get go.
Any idea why this might be...?
Further info: We've just added the epic loot mod, but canø't see anyting about this increasing the game difficulty. Other mods are unchanged from our last playthrough.

These monsters can spawn in any difficulty setting. The only thing that setting does is decreasing their damage output and increasing yours.
Which also means that you may even encounter the - very rare - 2 star monsters

Maybe more direct or fast sniff would be less damage but more precise, meaning higher chance of a critical hit. Slower sniff would be more damage but less critical hit chance. And maybe it could have damage over time.
