It's likely that your base will be destroyed due to terrain changes, but if you're lucky you might be in a location that's safe after the update. I don't reccomend entering placeholder biomes as new content won't generate in explored areas.

Like blobi said, it likely will get destroyed, I speak from experience that the changes with ashlands wrecked some small outpost I build there for easy surtling core and coal farming.

Yeah, the only reason you want to visit current Deep North is if you want to get the Fish living there for decoration or for crafting Fishing Hat. And even then I would go as edge as possible so the area that probably will get some content won't be locked before patch.

• every player choose a developer role at the beginning of the game.

• every player place the investment pawn on the department’s board
  • 1st department : programming room
  • 2nd : soundtracks studio

• each turn, players have to place their pawns in a department and then can

Well i am not 100% sure but the normal rules for objects on the ground should apply so if you leave it for an hour outside of player base area it will disappear, but it shouldnt do that while normally throwing and going to pick it up immediately

note that items from the gravestone don't automatically stack onto matching items in your inv that way.
if there's 2 rocks on your gravestone and 3 in your inv, the auto-loot will make that two separate stacks.

In what manner do you crash? (CTD, pc restart, black screen with sound, frozen frame PC doesn't register input,...).
Regardless, the first thing you should do, is reset your BIOS settings to default.

Seems like a CPU/RAM related crash.
After resetting your BIOS setting, you didn't tweak them after rest, right?
The crash might also be caused by some app that you are using. Medal, overwolf, OBS, citrix workspace?

Got a question this morning: I started playing this game with a friend of mine, he is the host and I am the guest. I tried to enter his world when he was offline and I could not, I noticed that I can only enter his world only when he is online. Is there a way for me to enter his seed/world without him being online? Sometimes due to life we are not able to play everyday together so I would like to just log in when he can't and farm some stuff for our base.

You would have to have a dedicated server, you would either pay for a service or get a third device (old laptop/PC or something) and run it on that 🙂

Another option is to go on the hidden folder and copy the map and then send it to your friend, this way you can change who is the host. There are two files so make sure to copy each one of them and keep backup on every computer in case of issues during transfer

or another way is for your friend (or you) to play whenever, is to use our dedicated server program.
just tell it to start the correct worldfile, and then it goes

Black Forest is probably my favorite, the scenery is just really good. Now that you can place Magecaps and Jotun Puffs, you can really take the scenery up a notch- I feel those synergies extremely well with the theme of the Black Forest.

For a gameplay perspective, plains is really solid. Mainly because you can grow barley and flax there. However, with portals, it’s not super important.

Kinda depends on which biome I would say

It really is a good idea because you will move metal forward while exploring further on the map to where you will use it. That's just one trip that you would do anyway, but if you don't do that you will then need to do many trips backwards from the latest biomes towards your base which is probably near the middle which is a very long trip

Plains is a great choice and will make getting the blackmetal and farming really easy and convenient

Yes of course, you won't start seeing mistlands until about 2/3 of the way on the map so settling around half the width of the map is the ideal spot IMO

I’m on the swamp currently, forgot how challenging it can be. Being constantly wet is a super important consideration, and bringing mead can easily make the difference between life and death. Enemies are fun to fight and engage with. Really good biome, even before taking the witch into account. Such a good game.
