the brilliant blending of the mechanics of exploration, combat, resource gathering, crafting, and building--you are incentivized to do all in service of others, for example to be able to be strong enough to square off in 'the next/later biome' you must gather resources from present biome, return to base, build and/or upgrade crafting stations, and then make the new food which now gives you higher max hp & stamina, able to do more attacks, take more hits with the same given armor, and stagger less as staggering in part a function of HP--the things all tie together brilliantly IMO, combat also very satisfying, and I find the aesthetic choices superlative, the low resolution textures not at all a detraction with the love put into the sounds and lights, reflections and shadows, landscapes just LOOK very pretty @proven sequoia

I really enjoy to play with a friend and we have a totally different experience of game : my friend loves to cook and farm and I love to explore and collect trophies, i'm a archer and he's a tank or a mage. I really like to build and decorate the village as much as exploring the plains and I remember the first time I discover new biomes the excitation and the fear I had at this time are today very good memories I have with him.

The difficulty is increasing a lot between two biomes

Stepping into a new biome can be really brutal, new enemies with new mechanics you need to learn.
Being weakish compared to the mobs since you haven't got biome appropriate gear yet.

Let's not forget that the monsters in a biome give fuck all about the border and will venture into the lower biome to wreak havoc.

All gloriously tantalizing POIs that leave you wondering what is inside. Can mark them on your map to return to later, and then get a rush when a future item hints/hints at being useful there! Or heck, even finding the item first that hints at some use somewhere you have yet to see and getting the aha moment once you find the POI.

Nowadays the imperium has 9 first founding chapters who were originally the legions during the great crusade and stood on the emperors side during Horus’ rebellion.
After which Guilliman had the legions be split into chapters with a maximum of 1000 marines(with exceptions) to prevent another heresy from happening.
And there’s literally hundreds of chapters who all have some genetic lineage to the 20 legions

Hi Guys! How to fix stuutters in valheim on pc? This game become like UE5 games nowadays

Game on AMD cards run like shit, set it to vulkan is even worse

Cant get away from stutters, apearing every 10-15 meters while you explore

Set the settings to ultra low and same thing continue to happen

Try it tu turn of vsync and everything, same thing. Tried youtube optimization videos, same thing. Who’s gonna fix this game?

The only way to fix this is to set 30fps cap lock, then you’ll not be able to see the stutters because of the 30fps its already laggy

Had similar issues with a 6800xt a while back. Turned out to be psu related in the end, when the gpu got stressed enough the psu could not deliver a stable current. Psu was atx 2.0 and the 6000 series is designed for atx 3.0 that supports higher momentary power spikes. Ran it for two years without issue but in the end it degraded. If I ran valheim windowed it worked for some reason, lower resolution in fullscren stuttered no matter what.

Where have you picked up this? Afaik no manufacturer recommends it in cadence, just if you have any issues that might be related to gpu drivers.

don't have a link for it on hand to be honest atm.
But have read the AMD, Nvidia and Intel forums for almost 25 years. They do recommend to perform a clean re-install so you remove some old drivers and add new one. Removing old references, files that is no longer in use etc etc.
Sometimes old files lingering can be the actual cause of problems alot of people have with issues.

My 5600g eats 20-30w at max and 6800 eats 220, I have 650w psu and on calculator my system eats 450 only so it’s enough. In most of the games there is no stuttering at all exept UE5 titles that have stutters on all pcs and even consoles)

It’s definitely not a psu issue in valheim, most of the games run smooth at 99% of gpu usage. In valheim i play with 60fps cap so gpu usage si low(Around 100-120w). Also cpu is at max usage is 70 degrees only so its normal for 5600g.

Gpu at 99% cand get max 57 degress, so gpu also is cold. I think the problem is with amd parts, the game is better optimized for nvidia gpu+intel. Before I bought 6800 i was playing with integrated graphics on 5600g and it was same problem with stuttering. Also before this pc i had xbox series s and there was same issue again but it wasn’t that obvious because Ive played in 30fps mode.

Yeah, max capacity of the psu had nothing to do with my issue. The atx 3.0 standard that the 6000-series and onward is designed for allows for much higher momentary current spikes than 2.0. A 2.0 psu cannot deliver that, but a decent headroom can cover for it. For me it did (I had 200w headroom as well) for a long time but it eventually degraded. And as I mentioned I had no issues in any other games, it only showed in valheim. But only adding my experience to this, might be somehing else here.
