You just had to go someplace, type a command while looking where you wanted the camera to start and look. Then repeat for every subsequent position, and the tool would just make a smooth path in between the different points with a given time doing the total pathway, amazing 🥲

They used a lot of mods to do the actual building (mainly hammerplus to just copy and paste stuff), then some manual editing of in game assets to give custom texts to stones etc ... but the quest one I'm still unsure of the exact how xD

They also added a way to trigger traps by walking on certain areas (like a falling log when walking on a "pressure plate") ... all that without mods ...

Aight I've lost all hopes for the game and hence I'm leaving.
Writing ideas here is a waste of time, not only are devs extremely slow, they're also extremely stubborn. Much requested basic game features are not added, QoL refused. "It's a hardcore game bruh". Yeah Hardcore boring it is, waiting for your stam bar to recharge, while being able to portal back to base at all times. Or sorting through your inventory, constantly having to toss out trophy garbage and flowers, with no way of filtering items.
Spicing up the old biomes with new buildings and mechanics? Hell nah!
They won't touch any of the old biomes, they're just looking to get the last biomes done and call it a finished game.
Very sad, because this game had a lot of potential, but it is what it is.

2. Valheim is a Early access game, made by a very small team. We have the posibility to just add all and any suggestion our 12.000.000 players have. it is impossible to listen to everyone and make everyone happy.
3. Yes, we aren't planning to keep adding things for players who had played 1000's of hours just so they will find something new, while players who just pick up the game will feel overwhelmed and feel like the game is just bloated.
4. You're asking for features we might add later, when we are around 1.0
5. Yes, hardcore game. We want to have a specific style and type of game. It won't be for everyone but other players will like it. People are allowed to have diffrent things they want in a game. and that is okay.

From a game dev perspective it is a little true that the update times damage your playerbase against other competitors. But honestly? No game has the ''vibe'' and unique style that Valheim has, if your studio can do it, slowly and steady wins the race, this game is and will be incredibly more great in the future!

On any other survival game nowadays I just...play it? Valheim I always come back to just relax, farm a little my skills on other worlds etc...and now that I have options to make a character only for construction? LOVE IT.
