the only issues I've had with them coexisting are structurally; the textures are fine. There's some known issues with them that will be fixed, but they weren't considered major enough to hold up a release.

i played the ptb completed pretty early but idk if the bugs i encountered are all patched

From what I've seen and heard, when Ashland's releas d to the ptb it was just a wee bit like storming the beach in Normandy. Apparently, it's been patched, nerfed and buffed so it's a little bit easier but it is end game so don't expect it to be a cake walk.

The Xbox version isn't really having issues Microsoft just likes making updates go through a process which takes two to three days some big studios get around this by communicating with Microsoft beforehand to review the update but not actually release it until a certain date

I believe there is a "force update" devcommand for biomes that would bring a old (pre release) biome up to date. If you don't, you will be missing content and will likely have issues.

You can get the update on Microsoft by using the Flight release, the beta or whatever it is on XBox. It's the same as the full release version and is compatible with crossplay.

The further from initial spawn, the more likely you are to be affected by biome/terrain updates...from my understanding.

Same thing is likely to happen with deep north when it enters PTB and live. But that is a ways off.

Make a back up of the world so if your stuff is wrecked at least you can revert and offload the base

Honestly... This game has been great since it was first released.. with no major bugs, and only a few minor bugs compared to alot of other games. These DEVS has been doing an amazing job on a game they never thought would be as popular as it is. They would not release an update unless they thought it was ready. I have seen people bitching because it was released ... Thank you DEVS for all your hard work
