Oh I was referring to them being confused in the stress test - the stress test plopped players into the game with like 15 hrs of progress and gear and no tutorial, to try to get a lot of activity in the short window of the test.

It does require an online connection to play if that is what you were asking though - all the realms are hosted on their servers so they can collect gameplay data and facilitate some public world/dungeon matchmaking features

Very Hard gives mobs double damage and players 70% damage. So it takes 30% more attacks to kill him because YOU deal less damage, not because he has more hp.

Again in that boss fight it doesn't really matter. But it is an important distinction for making enemies fight each other. Enemy vs enemy fights on very hard is super strong, because they do twice as much damage to each other as usual while having no more health

I've been inciting a lot of enemy fights on my current run. I can't take down an abom or troll very well on my own, but run them into each other and it's a balanced fight where I just need to throw one spear at the end and they're both dead

I think any scaling in valheim changes damage dealt/taken, not hp, but it still visually tells you the same damage you deal as a player so it seems its the hp thats affected

I have an nvidia in an acer nitro5. Decent little box. I'm not a fan of how windows holds priority over what gpu is utilized. I feel like it should be an nvidia setting.

Windows is the OS, the GPU is just hardware... why would the GPU be able to override what the operating system decides? That's like... subverting the whole point of an operating system and having a HAL 😛

There's a whole nvidia app with all the settings and yet by default the os prioritizes the integrated gpu. Just feels clunky.

In general you should be using the integrated unless you're gaming? You can set different power profiles pretty easily, though. Especially with a laptop, they're going to err on the side of battery life vs. performance.

If you think about it too much in terms of timing, you'll mess up

But if you find that flow
It becomes autoplay
