Umm so. I transferred all my data from my old laptop to my pc but piskel wasn't working. I redownloaded it and for some reason everything looked more desaturated than usual. I know it wasn't the screens contrast because it wasn't changed at all. I got told by someone that piskel desaturated everything they made. Are the newer versions of piskel desaturating colours or am I geeked?
It doesn't even matter about piskel anymore. I figured out I could get minecraft java on my new pc and have been playing create mod for 2 days straight and do not plan on stopping.

I have been playing cteate mod for 5 days straight. I think I'm addicted
I have made my own modpack just to play it more and have taken an entire day to design a farmers delight hamburger factory then to gather materials in my survival world for the schematic to be made.
I still have to wait for the schematic cannon to make the factory and then I need to design the outside and aesthetics of the factory.
That will be done on day 6 of my create mod addiction

Working on railhammer resprite. I have actually increased its size by around 4 times the original. New railhammer is gonna need more turrets and defenitely is gonna need a new hitbox

Interesting. I used warmup but the heat just flashes every time it shoots and only the pods/cells stay out
The only solution I can think of is to add an extra weapon that shoots nothing but shoots really fast

Yeah sure.
Here is the weapon with impede. The idea is that the barrels fire homing blasts that go diagonal and curve similarly to elude's weapons.

The black holes were bugging me again. The accretion disc and doppler beaming were a sharp drop off so I added some more triangles to curve out the join and now it looks so much better.

Is it bad to say I've come up with a justification for a black hole being fine on top of a unit?
Justification: The black hole is actually a form of intense energy that is condensed into one place that takes the form of a black hole due to the condensed energy creating a sort of singularity. The singularity is not a dense singularity, it is an intense singularity made of energy so it does not create a gravitational field or pull and is just stabilized on the unit as a means to store energy in one location.
This justification could lead to justifying weapons that nullify attacks or consume smaller units, vaporizing them inside the intense singularity.

A unit that has an energy black hole in the middle with metal plates floating around it seperated and connected by constantly firing arc weapons to make it look like they are held together with pure energy and harm any unit that gets too close to the unit

After further inspection I haven't a clue how to implement the lightning this holding the unit together so I'm gonna have some random lightning bursts from the black hole that just go off randommly
It is too much confusing stuff. I could get it to work but it'd be astronomically horrible on the code side
I just created two always shooting lightning things with different reloads and it creates a random spark like effect

Might do soms sprite changes to the legged one and makenit shoot slower but it shoots two missiles

Concept. A unit that speeds up/slightly buffs other units with a custom effect(I'll figure it out) just a small movespeed and reload buff

Yeah. As a short summary. I simple idea is. A crawler that turns into a missile that blows a massive hole in enemy defences to leg smaller and medium unit in. Kind like a big chunky siege weapon
Side note: made some changes to perpetuates sprite but they are hard to see being covered up by the missile pods. The end of the legs have also had a slight colour change towards the body to make them brighter
Though I realise I might need to change the location of the heat pods because they intersect with stuff they shouldn't

so like its kinda slow in the first stage
then ejects its wings and fires up the main thruster
yeeting it to absurd speeds making it a kinetic impactor thing
Hold on. That could work. Give it an ability that give it super speed and give it a weapon with the thruster animation that activates after a certain time. Then I could add the ramming code from the purple naval units I have to make the kinetic impact thing

Idea. Instead of normal naval units there are battleships, scouting ships and aircraft carriers because they look cool

destroyers - glass cannons, often fast and dangerous
corvettes - smallest class, scout glass cannons armed with explosive weapons
cruiser - larger than frigates, armed with a huge triple barreled deckgun and multiple aa missile weapons
battlecruiser - an even larger cruiser, a siege weapon of massive proportions armed with two dual barreled deckguns fires longrange rail bolts
carrier - the largest class, has many anti ground weapons and drone bays
hovercraft - large as destroyers, hover over water making them faster tho have less weapons
utility-ship - support ships

You can make worm enmies in any version
My other mod extremus null has a worm enemy and is for v136
I think you need to be in 149 for worm cell sprites iirc
But yeah worms work in 146

Thats more of a complicated thing with segments that connect and disconnect needing very complicated code lol
then, you can make that if u destroy for example: the middle part, it will reconnect

9 units have been sprited so far with a 10th one in progress. Once it is complete the final two can be sprited and you can all witness them

What if instead of hoverparts I used a constantly shooting weapon that had halo parts that died out and grew back to emulate the hover look because square hoverparts are always diagonal and I want straight ones
I could make better hoverparts that bend around the shape of a unit instead of the rigid normal hoverparts that are limited

I've been working on things like leg sprites for units and once they are all done I can start coding units
I remember seeing them on a similar styled unit somewhere and I think they look cool. I remember having an idea of making them glow the same shade but I never actually did that to any on the units that have the tubes in the mod.
These ones have the tubes and I liked the look so I decided to carry it over to some units but not every unit just for some variation.

I finished all the sprites and got bored of making legs so I drew another small unit. Its a tiny version of intensify
I will start coding units soon. I will start with smaller units and build up to coding the larger ones
