these are a couple units I have made for the mod and I have more planned. Yet again these are just my ideas. If you have any suggestions for units feel free to give me them

I edited the X and Y coords to be better becuase they were both a bit off but yes they do work well

Hmm. That issue with obliterates arms may be fixable now we found out they don't need caps for regions, it probably applies to parts and weapon parts but I can't be bothered now and obliterate is fine how it is now

You can do anything with json if you slam stuff together and copy code from units to units

So basically. There is no current way to make units because I never planned for that and this mod is just more of a 'I think its cool so I'll add it mod'. I could add unit factories and spawners but I never planned for it and all the units are horrendously balanced for vanilla campaigns

This is code for one weapon. I copied that with different values for the others. How do I add the recoil index then merge them properrly

Let me check my list of unit concepts for weapon ideas and unit names
'Remian. A large unit that when defeated creates 2 weaker hologram clones and calls some smaller reinforcements to attack enemies.' Alright so the idea for the hologram this time around: chop some extra bits off and remove one or two smaller weapons so they don't get confusing. Another ship 'focus' has this idea but I still don't know how to implement it with json

Well the concept for focus holograms is they are blue because the decal is blue, meaning all grey is replaced with a blue colour to mimic an energy hologram
I'll get around to doing something with it. I just have no idea what to do with it

There are some issues with heat sprites because they are just solid blocks of colour and they make units transparent for some reason but they have small machine guns missile clusters, explosive ?star? cannons and the main middle rail laser

Obliterate needs to have its opening attack be a seperate weapon and animation and be animated with shot delay and over complicated effects and thats after I add the original missile weapons I was gonna add to begin with. That one tank I made need to have its tracks fixed because I just don't understand how tank tread code works. I need to work on other actual units and code some units I've already done. I have some items and liquids I made that need coding and then it would be nice to have factories for everything.

Nevermind a new design is in order. Bigger to be cooler and more nucleoid scaled. I literraly rotated nucleoid 90 degrees and based the canvas size off of that to scale the new design
I wanted it nucleoid scaled and then found out it wasn't. This should be the final size and/or design

That origianlly massive turret is tiny now. I've been adding items and liquids but the bundles aren't working for them. All the items and lieuids do not have names or description in the code because I removed those fields for the bundles to work but it still doesn't

Maybe a DroneCenter that spawns a unit with "portal" like effects (it doesn't do anything, just flying) and then this "portal" spawns the unit you want. But one block can spawn only one unit (portal).
I also definitely saw in Allure the implementation of a unit - a portal.

@subtle tulip @ivory dew I have ideas for the drop pod concept and just some sneaky ideas for environment blocks:
Drop pod type unit stuff: Seperate pods resources for seperate classes and types. Seperate turrets for each tier. There will be a special turret for misc units that don't have their own set tier system.
Pods are made in large factories and are very expensive, to make up for the fact that there are no real unit production bays.
Flagships have a custom turret that requires much more expensive things and special expensive liquids.
Environment ideas for later: Metallic structures, Crystalline environments
That pod resource Idea also made me think that it would leave the ability to stockpile unit pods and then use them all when needed

Ah. The problem of balancing. Do I have one pod be really expensive and only use 1 per spawn, have 10 pods be less expensive and use 10 per spawn or, have 100 pods be cheap and use 100 per spawn.

So the idea is the middle notches are for the tier E.G.T1, T2, T3 .The top bar is for the travel method E.G.Spider, Mech, Naval. The bottom bar is for its usecase E.G.Offence, Defense, Specialist.
