These have served me pretty well for my musical and TV needs but now thinking of upgrading.

One of the speakers is perfectly fine cosmeticaly and performance wise, only milor scratches at the base (hence invisible) where the speaker rests on the brass pegs. Would rate 8/10-
However, speaker has had its vinyl started to peel slowly and spontaneously on the front right vertical edge. May be age related weathering, can't think of anything else as these speakers have been very well keptin a smoke free pet free home. Tried to fix the peeling edge with some glue, it did work a bit butthe glue spilled a bit overthe edge and the right side on the front has
few tiny air pockets under the vinyl visible. The top has a minor scratch and the bottom has those minor scratches from the brass pegs. As is obvious, these cosmetic concerns do not affect the sound. They sound just perfect Hence rated as 6/10,

Anyway, now that you have defined "VFM" to mean "Value for Money" which I think you really mean as "a phone with good performance / battery / overall usage for its cost", I'd look into Motorola or Google Pixel devices that meet your needs and budget. Our experience at work with Samsung's A-series phones is that they start off functioning okay, but become frustratingly unusable once you do... anything with them. Like, they do work, but the experience has been hit or miss, and we've only ever purchased them to test Intune management on Android devices.
