I noticed in the Advanced config for the Domain settings in Synology, that it says “LDAP encryption”. Currently set to SASL.

For ISO 27001 (yeh rip wish me luck), wanted to move this to SSL/TLS.

I have installed an SSL cert successfully for Secure LDAP in Entra Domain Services, but I just can’t get the Synology to work when changing the setting

I guess I’m also confused like, it’s domain joined. Why is there an LDAP setting in the first place?

Does a domain joined synology use the LDAP protocol for syncing the user accounts/groups? And Kerberos for the rest

Bro that’s not normal at all. If it’s still hitting 100°C after repasting, there might be soo many issues but as much as I know max of the time the cooler’s probably not seated right or the fan’s airflow is off. You should try reseating it, and also check the fan direction, and make sure the paste isn’t too much. If it spikes instantly, that’s a contact issue for sure.

I have always been fond id cooling I got a 280mm aio from them and it works great threw noctua fans on it that cost more than the cooler and its nearly silent and and it keeps cool I can also get away with 0rpm on my fans with it being mounted on the top of my case and convetion pulling enough air through that when I am just scrolling online it keeps cool its great
