While the i3 13100f is 3.4ghz, its a quad-core cpu. The i5 10400f is a 6 core cpu but is at 2.9ghz. The i3 may be stronger than the i5, but you also gotta put in the fact that the i3 is a 13th gen cpu which means it's gonna be lga1700 and the i5 is a 10th gen cpu which means it's gonna be lga1200

Cooking is the big one I find concerning. I've always been interested in cooking so I'm pretty good at it but none of my friends can cook, they can make microwave meals and follow cooking instructions on premade food but if I gave them raw ingredients and told them to make me a curry, stew, casserole etc none of them would have a single clue how to do it.

As I was interested in it my mother taught me how to cook when I was really young and I was actually really good, especially at baking. I won all sorts of village cake competitions when I was like 10 years old so I'm pretty lucky I know how as the biggest thing I find is it allows me to spend far less on food than all of my peers and get much tastier food thats also healthier.

Yeah, baking I always follow the recipe that I like or that I've made myself but making it yourself requires a lot of trial and error. You can make a cake and find it turns out awful but adjust a few tiny things and it works great. Cooking I'm more just shove what I know are the raw ingredients in and figure out the rest later. Like I've got a curry on at the moment that I've just shoved ingredients in the pot and I'll then add to taste once its basically finished cooking.
