I would hope that they'd be eager to correct mistakes after everything that has happened this week. I remember Linus saying in a few videos that he wanted Labs to have a dedicated site where raw data from their tests is listed, and I really want to see this come to fruition as it would make Labs a whole lot better. And I still think that it's better for Labs to be a subset of LMG so they can more easily afford testing equipment, products for testing, and have access to products sent to LMG before release.

Time will tell how good Labs becomes, and what a lot of people seem to forget is that their methodology and general setup is unfinished. It was irresponsible for LMG to rely on Labs data for reviews while Labs was in this state, and I feel it could be a lot better if allowed to become what Linus marketed it as.

The SQA (board in charge of setting curriculums for schools and colleges in Scotland) is very bad at updating curriculums for fast changing industries. In filmmaking, Avid Media Composer used to be considered the industry standard, and I guess the SQA is just unaware of Premiere and DaVinci being used by far more companies nowadays because all Avid software is shit, all my lecturers actually prefer Premiere or DaVinci but they can't do anything about it. I also have stories of them setting very outdated curriculums for IT, like we spent two weeks learning Python 2 in high school, in 2018.
